The Story so Far

Theres no evidence that praetor is a higher rank than executor. In fact, Fenix's title was "Praetor of the Protoss Defense Forces" which means there is only one praetor. Tassadars title was "Executor of the Koprulu Expidition", which means there might be more than one. Also, those two ranks might not both be related to the protoss military structure.

Well for one you led Fenix who is a Praetor

Perhaps we should ask about the protoss rank structure in the next submission to blizzard

 

Fenix is first and foremost a warrior and yes, we should ask blizzard about this.

But lets look at the inconsistencies.

This gives us the impression that its the same executor.

1) Why is Artanis having to explain himself to someone of lower rank.
2) Why would Aldaris be distrustful of Artanis after saying this:

On the other hand, it makes some sense that Artanis was the old executor. The things he did during episode III were pretty amazing, and thats why he was appointed to praetor at such a young age. Artanis witnessed first hand Tassadars amazing sacrifice and combined with the fact that Artanis is so young could explain why he practically worships Tassadar. Also, in episode III Artanis never actually fought humans, except for that pathetic attack from Duke, and that could explain why he underestimates them.

Actually, theres not a whole lot of inconsistencies. The only loose thread is who was the executor during Brood War?

With all that said, i'm still not happy about this idea. :|

 

Hey what about Aldaris in the story . Oh yea mentioning ranks they should hav Protoss ranks and Zerg ranks as well zomg thatd be kewl, then Clans should use those ranks as well and you can pick your type of clan if you'd like it to be a sort of race or all kinds it'd be pretty awesome too

What are plain human ranks?

Every nation on this planet has a different rank structure and you can bet the Koprulu and UED Terrans are different from ours.

 

Private, First Sergeant, Captain, Commodore, Specialist etc...

 

Hmmm, being Artanis in StarCraft sounds like a RetCon to me. i mean, it opens alot of plot holes. Don't get me wrong, I like Artanis, but I think playing as a nameless influence is kinda cool. It helps the story alot more at any rate.

 

Remember that Tassadar was younger than Fenix as well.

I also have that version, I saw it on there before about a year or so ago, or maybe it was on the brood war disc, but its there keep looking.
