the disc could be the ammo for a rail gun
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_gun

just a quick explanation, it uses magnetic currents that move down the two rails on either side to pull a projectile between them down the "barrel"

So it's settled then, the new Siege Tank is awesome. It's the Sean Conory of all Siege Tanks. The Cobra's attack should be blue if anything... But Terrans=Red lasers so...

Yea, these arent the Rebel Alliance ><

As for the ranks, i could definitely see those in SC2. I was always a bit confused on how some terran units were different ranks like sergeant, private, and the such but it never changed. Even if i kept them alive all game!

As for the disc shaped siege tank, how would that kill the Terran look? You only heard the shots and saw the impact from the shots int he first one, and disc's make a bit more sense then regular balls. With discs you can spread the impact out more as with a ball has a deeper, but more narrow field. Now when you are sieging an area/thing/building, don't you want to spread the damage out as far as possible?

Eh, my reasons for disc shape ^^

And yes, 2nd one is much better, tho in tank mode it looks chubby :p
