Yeah stimpacks are in. Also if you stimpack and then go into a bunker, the stimpack's effects will still be there.

But they still only last for like 10 seconds, though.. I find it useless if you ask me.

Personally I never found them all that useful but whatever. Having them built at the factory makes no sense to me.

Well technically the goliath is a vehicle. Unlike the firebat which is just a regular marine with a flame thrower instead of a rifle, a goliath is a large mech with dual machine guns and AA rockets.

Anyway unless they have some serious new firepower I don't see any reason to switch them to the factory.

Firebats are to even things out and counter many things but is there still someway we can get Blizzard to put the Firebat into the barracks then the factory?

Firebats are just in the Factory now because their health, armor, and damage is much higher than it was in the original Starcraft, so Blizzard put it in the factory so it will be balanced out. Imo, that part's really dumb. If they were going to make it like that they might as well just make it a flame tank or something.

A flame tank would not fit in a bunker, or be able to use stimpacks.

Firebats have stimpack and can go in bunkers currently.

Their new role is tanker, melee damage dealer. Remember, no concussive damage in SC2, so their damage dealing role will not be anywhere near as limited as what it was in SC1.

Last time we really we had a talk about something we really disliked, the mother ship got tottaly changed. In a bad way. So please people don't poke it. As I said earlier, I don't like living in a box.

it'll most likely be toned down on the size in the later game stage. Nothing in SC2 will stay the same ;)

well yeah basic stuff like that will stay the same because it wouldn't be Starcraft without them. But their stats, abilities, etc. may change drastically. Basically we won't know for sure till it's done.

well lets not see that the firebat will end up like the Witch King in the Battle for middle earth 2 expansion pack. That guy ended up 3x the regular size of his old model

If you ask me, I think the firebat will end up looking like the dreadnought from DoW.

They can put Firebat back to Barracks and add requirement of Factory if they need so... Anyway it'll no longer burn zerglings because it appears too late.

    I got a pic. :)
The game is called Dawn of War.

I don't think that it looks like a Firebat thought. They have the same colour (but only in this picture), but the similarities end there.
The Firebat is more human shaped.
