The fire bat. Amazing how u guys cant seem to think of good units currently to go with the fire bat. I would use cobrs with the New firebats. The way i see it the new fire bats have more life and that gives them more time to close the range gap, also i would tag them up with Cobras (Currently have slowing attack). At this point theres no escape from the hell like fury and if they still have stim packs with meds this is gann be a funny sight.

I think that Firebat+Siege Tank will be the new Vulture+Siege Tank combo. Just place the Firebats in front of your tanks, and slowly push.

Need some anti-air. You might want to drag some marines or cobras or vikings along too.

vultures, who uses vultures, they suck, there are only two things they are good for, and that's laying spider mines, and hit and run raids on infantry, they do almost no damage to anything else, I put Goliaths in front of my tanks instead

Not necessarily. I have seen a lot of games where Terran players mass Siege Tanks and Vultures, and it was usually Boxer playing. You don't need a huge AA force at the moment, all you need is a plan B.

Goliaths were good enough anti air, vikings are better than goliaths for anti air, therefore you shouldnt worry too much, you even have cobras, Thors and Marines/ghosts to help out.

i think marines with the new life increase with meds and enough missle turrents will be enough. Massing firebats and cobras behind that with a few tanks too boot will be enough over kill. And besides terrens can also now double build men. this is ganna be a pwnage fest for terren players now. Terrans so far have had the biggest changes, i think. but i'm not sure until we see zerg.

Hrm Terran has the most changes but what about the Protoss they got upgraded I think, and the Zerg evloved which is even more of a change, but still I think units should have a extra damage effect or w/e like the Warpray it just makes it more realistic you know what I mean? ^_^

yeah i understand, but theres srill not much i can say untill i see zerg. But i have the strongest feeling blizzard might let down alot of people with corny zerg ideas. But Either way when sc2 comes out i'm ganna play terrans first.

Hey I just noticed something first in Sc orginal you start off as Terran and this is the Formation is: Zerg Terran Protoss and you play the mid first then left then right, and in Brood war you start off as Protoss and the formation rotates: Terran Protoss Zerg
so in SCII in campaign it would probly be Protoss Zerg Terran and probably Raynor kills Kerrigan/Saves her so I think you'd be starting off with Zerg unless ur gonna start off in Custom games right away or pick another race instead of starting from the beginning.

no its not. Blizzard already has the story line set out. there just making units and the missions with the units. Blizzard has been planning this for a verly long time and they wouldn't of wasted there time to put out plat form and not have a story line to already set up for it. You dont start writing a book at random without a end in mind and i'm damn well sure blizzard would not start with out a end planned out.

Well, I don't like that the viking can only shoot air in fighter form, they can get hit by dedicated air units like missle turrents. This is exactly why people use goliaths instead of wraiths even with their higher mobility and cloaking.

The viking is a fair unit but i'm not wow'ed by it. But i guess moving up the viking and bring back the fair bat was a faily even idea but as it stands terrans are still down like 2 units. compaired to protoss

But Terrans have Nukes and drop pods, which are units, since they require supply.

Nukes and drop pods aren't units any more than scarabs were units.

Probe, zealot, stalker, immortal, high templar, dark templar, archon, phase prism, observer, colossus, phoenix, warp ray, carrier, mothership. That's 14.

SCV, marine, medic, reaper, ghost, cobra, firebat, tank, viking, banshee, dropship, nomad, battlecruiser, Thor. That's 14.
