The New(er) Hydralisk

If anything they'll just change the projectile graphic, which has much less side effects than turning hydralisk into GtG only units.

Hydralisk were the all-round average guys of SC1 ... wouldn't be surprised if they were as well in SC2.

 

That is what im saying. That was a sarcastic post.

 

They are not that average anymore... According to some people that visited Blizzard's HQ, they now do 8 GtG damage and 10 GtA damage, making them a little sharper vs. air.

 

They should get a damage upgrade because they have been moved back to tier 3. I also agree that giving them a better anti air is good because they are one of only 2 or 3 G zerg units that can GtA.

 

Or Blizzard could be smart and kick them in the butts until they're back to their SC1 tier.

 

i dont think them being tier 3 is that big a deal because all thr other basic units for the other races such as the immortal are also tier 3. it works out in the end.

 

The Immortal is tier 2.

 

And hydralisk is Tier 2

 

Do you have a source that says the Hydra is tier 2 NOW?
All I heard is that the dev team is seriously considering it.

Yes, you're correct. But I do remember that the Hydralisk was tier 3 at some point. When was that?

I always thought that was just a piece of false info perpetuated by people with lack of knowledge on how the tech tree works. As far as i know, it's always been Tier 2

 

GMG that was a false understanding of the Tiers...
The people who reported that thought that Lair + Hydra Den was Tier 3!

 

So it is tier two but then is roach also tier two, one, or 1.5?

 

The Roach is tier 1.5

 

When Blizzard released it they said it was tier 3, then when people got hands on at the Blizzard trip I think it was changed to tier 2 then, as I do recall in one of the videos from the Zerg release event it was tier 3.

 

dude what the hell. why in all that is holy would they make they hydra tier 3. they better switch it back or im going to slaghter every single blizzard member reason sponsible for this horror(not really but you get the picture)

but if they are going to keep it like this i hope they made them uber strong AND WITH A MEELEE attack. im going the make a thread about that right after this post.

 

Blizzard never said it was Tier 3, it was a site that reported wrong (not knowing the tiers)!
