    Hey joshin. My profile picture is actually an art from BlizzCon. I have no idea what it is though but it sure looks pretty damm cool. I'm thinking it is some sort of soaped up Zealot.

    By the way, I was thinking about the critique video and how it pointed out that things were way to busy and confusing. If the cap goes up, then it would probably get even more confusing. Just a point I guess.

    200-300 sounds good, tho it would also be good to have an option to be able to choose as well, maybe for a UMS setting

    Personally, I don't really think that the food cap really affects me. I play blizzard made maps, so seeing an army over 100 food is a rare instance.

    i wonder how giving the player the ability to up the cap late game would affect teh gameplay
    plus
    weren't the blizzcon attendees sayin how they weren't even keepin up with the resource rates?
    makes me think larger scale games would be more common

    I voted for the upgradeable cap option simply because I like upgrades.
    I would also reccommend a "spec variable cap" system that automatically measures the computer's capacity or the internet connection in real time instead of a well rounded number.

    I really enjoy playing on huge maps with each player on the corner and big cluster of maxed resources for each. I like maxing my cap and flooding the enemy with 24 carriers and a dark archon to eventually take every species over. I WOULD LIKE MORE ADVANCED AI. P.S. Lets all talk about peragon, LOL, super star!

    I haven't checked, but it'd also be nice if the map size max was greatly increased as well.

    Well i think much better if they will increased it by 400+ because as you saw in the first demo of Starcraft 2 that the Zerg Zerglings are too many so i guess if you observed thay are too amny in order to have the limit of 200 so thats what i guess i think it will be more than 400+.

    i voted for 300 because 9/10 years of wait for the next sequel shouldn't be 200 unless we all feel comfortable with 200 units but i thought about 300 units so there will be less laziness i guess but i though it would be more reasonable at least with 300 units

    Should be variable and dependent on the game itself.

    If the game is 1v1, then the max should be 200.
    If the game is 1v7, then the max cap should be increased to at least 400.

    With that said, I do not like the idea of the game hoster being able to "choose" before the game start. There should be a formula made by Blizzard to be integrated as part of the game. And it will determine the unit cap for each game.

    Basically I want to see - 1v1 = 200 | 1v2 = 250 | 1v3 = 300 ...... until 1v7 is 500.
    And also 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 would be a max of 200 on each player.

    Uhm i was thinking before, if they will do it 400+ is it okey for the computers?,, because some computer getting slower, when your units getting more..expanded.

    Server side option would be nice. Minimum 50, maximum 300 and could be set in steps of 25. 1v1 games for hardcore microing players would be more interesting with a supply limit of 50 while average players would enjoy watching the show with 300.
    I say the more options the better. I'd even support other server options like not gathering when rallied there or cap the maximum units in a group to 6/12/18/etc. but this is kind of OT :)

    In another thread, Smokiehunter came up with a great idea for the unit cap that I believe should definitely be implemented. Each race could have a building/unit that increases the max population by 50 (but one time only). And it would make sense as well.

    The Protoss Mothership could do it for the Protoss, the Terran Planetary Fortress could do it for Terran, and the Zerg could have a new structure called the Cerebrate (just to throw something out there) and these could raise the max population. It would be a cool dynamic and add another strategy to the game - teching to where you can literally have more units than your opponent.

    I think 200/300 sounds good for the campaign, and the posibility of choose in multiplayer

    choosing before the match begins in MULTIPLAYER is a really good idea it opens up entirely new gaming strategies

    for those of you who like the original 200, thats fine, set your game to a 200 limit
    but for those who want a game with larger armies and a different gaming technique then raise the limit

    it seems like a no brainer to me?!?!?! having the ability to change the limit covers all options
    its what everyone wants but rolled into one



    as for the CAMPAIGN i think it should have a set limit maybe it could be different for different levels or maybe with increased difficulty level comes the ability to have more population
