Same thing except if you put Hydralisks under dark swarm, zealots can run under and assasinate your hydralisk two at a time. What ever you want to put under dark swarm is still good.

I usually go for guardians + mutas/devouers but it's hard to do anything with them on this map

Hmm well out of the three enemies I would say that the UED is strongest by far followed by the Protoss and the Terran Dominion. At first I play it I keep losing but recently it only took me abt 1 hour plus to win the mission.

What I suggest is mass guardian, mutalisk and devourer. Use them and crush the Dominion. I just dun understand why they are so weak......Next the Protoss......Their Maelstrorm, Psionic Storm and Statis Field can be a headache. But if you were to conquer the Dominion's territory there will be tons of minerals and gas. So you can mass alot of guardians and devourers with ease. Use Defiler's Plague to to ur advantage since Protoss life cannot regenerate ;D And watch out for Dark Archon's Feedback.

Next the United Earth Directorate. They do have alot of Battlecruisers and Valkyrie Frigate. (Man I hate them). In the early stage of the game, I did not even dare to build an expansion nearby the UED even if I am desperate. The key is that with 12 guardian and 12 devourer (thats alot of money), I can easily sweep the Dominion and for a very long time, money is not the issue since the Dominion seems to have so much minerals and gas lying around.

Anyway I suppose that the further you are from the UED base, you will receive less attack from them. Bcs are hard to be countered early game. To do so you will need defiler's plague, scourges or mass hydra. But if you manage to destroy the protoss and Dominion, 1 vs 1 should be fair considering how stupid the AI is.

By the way, it's not the last BW mission... There's another one, secret mission called Dark Origin, where you play as Protoss and discover hybrids laboratory. You’ll get a secret bonus mission automatically when you complete Zerg Mission 9 with more than five minutes remaining on the 30-minute counter on Zerg 9 mission(not the 10nth one).

Okay, I tried the level again yesterday and here's my strategy.

    1. Build up your base, you should have at least four hatcheries/lairs/hives, two greater spires, two evo chambers, hydra den, spawning pool, etc. Pretty much every building really. Don't forget to make enough units and buildings to protect your base.

    2. Make 12 mutas and 12 guardians, then attack the red terran base from the north. They don't have much defenses against guardians so all you have to look out for are the wraiths, and you can take care of them easily with your mutas. Keep pushing forward and when all the unit producing buildings are destroyed, they'll surrender. Expand to that base.

    3. Next up is the protoss. Set up the 4 hatcheries on the frontlines and pump out 2 dozen hydras and 3 dozen lings. Get your guardians and mutas if you want, but they won't be a huge help this time. Basically what you want to do is attack move the lings into the base and send in your hydras after. You want to focus the hydras' fire, so micro is pretty important here. Watch out for the arbiters, since they'll stasis field you a lot, as well as the HTs. If you've been expanding you should have a huge stockpile of resources, so keep producing lings and hydras and repeat. Don't forget to defend against the white terrans while you're doing this.

    4. Try to destroy the Carriers, the Arbiters, and other high-priority units like that first. You should try to destroy Stargates and cannons when the units are destroyed and before they make new ones. With enough luck you should be able to wear down that base and you'll eventually destroy it. Just go for the stargates first and that'll make things much better.

    5. Once you've destroyed the protoss' main base, you should get moving on the terrans. They'll have a ton of BCs, so hydras are still a necessity. Get some queens for spawn broodlings on the siege tanks. There's a small outpost near the terran base. Destroy it, and set up 4 hatcheries and enough defenses there.

    6. Pretty much the same tactic as the protoss: hydras + lings, and attack the starports first this time. As long as your base hasn't been decimated by them while you were fighting the protoss, you're pretty much guaranteed to win this.

Really the biggest challenge in this mission is defending against the white terrans while you try to destroy the protoss. The red terrans are relatively easy, and I've gotten past them with no casualties once. It'll probably take an extremely long time to finish. Hell, it was the hardest mission ever in an RTS that I've played. But if you do beat this level, you can be sure that you're no longer a noob in any way.

No problem. Let me know if this worked, because it's the only one that worked for me so far.

I was so hoping that even if the Zerg won the cinematic would be watching the Zerg retreating from the remenants of the 3 fleets before Kerrigan got wipped.

Here is what you do. Build lots of deffences around the enemy bases and slowly work your way in their base lol. I never tried it lol.
