THey require creep now too right?

Basicly nothing like the awesomeness we originally saw. they might as well just bring back the normal nydus canal

no, they removed the Creep requirement again, right now they are spawned from Overseers for just energy(yes energy, not resources) and they(Nydus Worms) produce a little creep around them when they finish spawning.

Enough to place a colony or defenses?

Now that they nerfed it into oblivion (and changed it for the billionth time) allowing you to use it to set up a base right quick would give you some redeeming value, though I still feel that the nydus worm as it originaly was and drop pods were awesome and should have been left as is.

im not sure how much creep is produced, I just know that some is produced, and even now its most likely have been changed in the current build that Blizz have.

The creep around the Worms are just enough to prevent it from auto dying from lack of creep but small enough so you can't plant down colonys but you can maybe squeeze in a creep tumor.

THat's lame. Whats the point of having a creep mat if it's not big enough to use?

Well i'm not sure but I'm guessing from the demos of nydus worms I was watching. It's suppost to be used to only support the nydus worms but not any other buildings/units.

If it doesn't require creep to summon then it shouldn't need creep to sustain it

Just make it a unit and you don't have to worry about the creep or maybe just make it like the extractor in that it doesn't need creep (unless the extractor needs creep now)

Extractors make a tiny patch for themselves to stay alive.

Actually, Extractors are like Lungs, they feed off of the vespene geyser and expel wasteful gas from their vents.
