no. the khalis was laced with zerg/dt energy.
the uraj was necessary to prevent the protoss from killing themselves :/

Well, Terrans are definitly not the strongest. Yet you would think they had Nukes, Hydrogen Bombs and stuff, but if they don't, probably the UED fleet from Earth would be (who had more develloped technology when the first Terran settlers first glimped Tarsonis. Nukes would cleanse all Zerg on the planet, Aiur, whatever, but it would also wipe the hole of it including vegetation. Terran's would never use it on their own soil, except perhaps Arcturus Mengsk or the previous Confederates on Korhal. Protoss are for the time being, the most powerfull for their capacity to ionize any planet's atmosphere and wipe any life on it at a safe distance and with control. Something a nuke missile doesn't have.

Terran are the strongest when they work together. Take the UED fleet that came into the sector, they dominated anybody who stood in the way til they were unraveled from the inside by Duran...In fact thats been a problem with every faction, aldaris caused problems because of his intolerance, and I guess you could use the idea that the protoss were weakened from the dark templars exile, but I don't see how that aside from the fact dark templar are the only ones that can kill cerebrates and the overmind. But I don't think a demographic being exiled like 5000+ years ago is a valid excuse as to why the protoss might be in a weakened state, if anything it was the infighting Tassadar caused by bringing the dark templar back into the fold, which was probably a factor in why Aiur was overrun.

Personally, I don't believe nuclear missiles could clear a planet of Zerg. I'd imagine they're fairly resistant to radiation and chemical warfare.

Terran are not the most powerful race technologically or otherwise for that matter but that is what i like about them.

Even before the Protoss were genetically enhanced and given knowledge from the Xel'naga they were very physically strong etc and that is one reason the Xel'naga decided to enhance them. The Protoss metalurgy, robotics, etc are far more efficent and stronger than the Terrans. This coupled with their high psionic abilites,(even a normal protoss has more psionic capability than the most powerful and trained terran ghosts) makes them quite powerful.

The Zerg however were to be the successors of the protoss due to that the xel'naga deemed the protoss failures and decided to make the zerg hyper evolutionary virus instead. If anything the Zerg are the most powerful out of the three, they have endless poential can adapt to any enviroment and can overrun the Terran AND the Protoss with no technology just their evoultion and biology.

Terrans on the other hand use crude technology that is inefficent and requires a lot of resources and drains planets quickly. You can't say Terran tech is more advanced because its more complicated either such as wires and mircochips, that just means they need to do a lot more to acheive something simply done by the Protoss. That would be like saying a suit of armor is more advanced than a kelvar vest because the suit of armor has more parts and it is harder to make.

The Xel'naga however would be the most advanced and powerful race though because they have the knowledge to create the Zerg AND Protoss and gave the Protoss thier knowledge. They are also obviously advanced enough to travel throughout large portions of space and conduct genetic experiments on other races that have interstellar travel. They also don't seem to interfere with events and just let things run their course for the most part. Similar to how we would observe two ant colonys or wild animals and they are doing this on a galatic scale with the Protoss and Zerg and also perhaps the Terran.
