Both the Mutalisk and the Vulture continued had a 'braking' time after they stopped moving which allowed them to, in effect, attack while moving. As far as I know, but I could be wrong, the Banshee doesn't have this. Regardless, area of effect or not, it fires several rockets one after the other, so it would have to be stationary when it's firing.

Not many Sc2 units seem dancable which is a let down (especially the Mutalisk). I think thats the reason they are giving everything abilities, possibly...

The Mutalisk is still dancable isn't it? I wasn't aware that it had changed at all. If they have, they shouldn't have. They Mutalisk basically had a lot of passive semi-abilities, being this and its bouncing Glaive Wurm attack. Seeing as that was the basic, unupgraded unit, they shouldn't take any of that away from them.

Watch the various videos with Mutalisk in it. Its slower, and doesn't instantly react to clicks in certain times, like when its gliding. It also seems to take a slight pause before attacking.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I don't think it's too much slower, but you're right about the attack. They stop much more abruptly and looks as though they need to be stationary which attacking. If anything the opposite should have happened and they should be able to attack while moving.

Also, I doubt they are stackable as players have said. In Sc1 you could take advantage of ground AI movement and put to use in the air which is why I believe stacking worked as if you selected a Larva or something along with the Mutalisks, they'd rally to a single point like ground units were scripted to. But air units was not scripted to rally to that single point which is why they didn't automatically stack.
Whether or not this works in Sc2 since the scriping is much more evolved, I doubt that would happen. Hopefully Blizzard will impliment something to allow air units to stack as they did in Sc2.
They'd probably just give it an ability to mask the non stacking...

stacking air units in 3d looks really bad.

Jackal is basically a combination of a Firebat and Vulture.
    It has wheels.
It has a rotating turret (they must be working on that)
    Its uses fire!

Me smells a zerg counter... =)

    It's not fire, it's a railgun.

Jon said that in the build that he played, mutas were not stackable at all. I think that was the worst news I heard from him from a Zerg point of view. Sad.

Anyway... so since this is the TERRAN JACKAL thread... so we all hate the Jackal right? Everyone with me?
