Terran defense against Dark Templar?

What idiot would build a bunker and then leave it empty? A bunker is a good early warning alarm, plus it can take out a few enemies if they aren't cloaked.

And missile turrets, even with detect ability upgraded, are useless against ground forces, they only attack air forces.

@asdf No dts are not visible while warping in and I will usually warp in a dark corner in their base then run to minerals.

@the8thark I'm in platnium league (before diamond existed) and terran would never have a bunker back there. I always assume the next time i try it there will be a bunker with rines in it but there never is. but actually my point was its EASIER. the terran has to build the bunker then build four rines to put in it. i still think its easier for a toss or zerg just to throw a few cannons/cralwers back there..

Agreed it takes longer to get a bunker + 4-6 marines. That's assuming you don't already have the marines. Harder to get for terran but I would argue it's the best stationaty defence wth the 4-6 marines in it of any race. And with the range and building armour and marine damage upgrades, it really makes the bunkers pretty potent.
