I prefer the carrier over the tempest just because the tempest had a very silly shield set up. Other than that Protoss need something to shoot for in the long run that can mass and destroy just about everything. That is just the way Protoss is. With the original air unit configuration, Protoss air was too balanced and weak, for their overpowered style.
