I hope that they don't bring him back. I loved him in SC1, but like previous posts have said, it's time to move on. He was great as he was and changing his story or continuing it makes it possible to screw up a story line that is so good. He died a martyr. Let him rest in peace. Don't bring Tassadar back. Blizzard did it to Medhiv and I never got back into him being alive again. His resurrection felt contrived instead of smooth and natural. It was against the flow of the storyline. Let's not do that to StarCraft, please?

Tassadar-Overmind hybrid?! No, that would just be too powerful and wreck the game. We need things balanced and fun!

As much as Tassadar was my favorite character from starcraft, bringing him back would cheapen him as a character too much. Let him stay dead.

Well what ever reason, still much better for the Starcraft 2 to Ressurect Tassadar, so the story line become more exciting, well if they did not ressurect Tassadr well its okey also. :)
At least he died for Auir.

Yeah I liked Tassadar too but seeing him back would seem kind of wierd. If he does come back it should be his spirit inhabiting a stalker since the description seems to indicate the stalker is piloted by just the spirit of a Protoss warrior not having a body in it like the goon or immortal does.

    "En taro Tassadar"

It makes hime something like a god. I don't think they will make him come back. He is the part of the brave protoss history

That doesn't make him a God. Adun was not a god and the protoss say "En Taro Adun" as well. These protoss figures are not gods but heroes who saved protoss civilization. Adun started the Khala and pulled the protoss out of the Aeon of Strife. Similarly Tassadar destroyed the Overmind saving the protoss from extinction on Auir, even though the planet was subsequently mostly lost to the protoss.

First, Tassadar was 356 Years old. Adun similar to Tassadar reached a demi-god status in the eyes of the Protoss. His fate is unknown, but, we presume he is dead. This phrase "En Taro Adun!" and similar to that in SC2 "En Taro Tassadar!" are said by Zealots if you click on them multiple times. Which, if I remember correctly is "We Honor Adun/Tassadar!" so I presume both Tassadar and Adun are both dead. As sad as it may be. We can't have 100 Tassadar's running around doing their thing. Otherwise it would be SC2: Tassadar and the 99 Clones. So I say no resurrection. Now Fenix I would love to come back. Tassadar no.

Resurrection to bring back Tassadar? Time travel to enlist his assistance again? Perhaps there could be a side story where the Terrans go back to the 1990's (upon stealing the Protoss time machine or time travel technology) and enlist the help of Chuck Norris! No one can stop Chuck! ;)

Yeah see, time travel is lame. Let's not have time travel in SC2.
