You can see both of them in the first picture, the things above and under the pool are spine crawlers. The thing on the left of the pool is a spore crawler:

The pine or sunkern (what ever it is) is awsome looking. the spore how ever looks so weied 'n gross. The should have moss or spores on the outside or something green in some places.

The pic sc.rew labeled as the Spine Crawler is actually the Sunken Colony. It doesn't look like that anymore.

the spore colony feels too "open".

The sunken feels like it has a crayon stuck in it but I'm no zerg fan so who am I to judge.

The spore should have spores on it and pyramid shape to it. The sukern is cool as is. They could add some spikes on the sides stivking outward though.

The creeps role will be huge, I agree. I believe Zerg units also move quicker on creep so spreading it could have a huge impact on a battle's outcome :D I think we'll be seeing a lot more Spine Crawlers on the front-lines with the units since they can uproot and move. Of course, spreading the creep would be essential to that. I think the Zerg user would want to expand the creep as much as possible to utilize the speed benefits and the possibility of using spine crawlers to support the units in the battlefield.

i sort of agree. About the use of creep though, does it have to all be linked together, or can it be anywhere for spore and spinecrawlers to move to it? I do agree spreading creep will have a big affect, especialy if you can put it and the defence units in other peoples bases.
