They do that alot these days so people don't scalp tickets

 

Yes, I know, but there's a still a good chance that there is atleast one person that bought a ticket and, now, won't be able to use it.

 

I never really thought that was fair. To the person who bought the ticket or the people who didn't

If you can't use a ticket you should be allowed to give it to someone else. The problem is they don't want people making profits off their tickets by buying a bunch and selling them last minute so the little guy who can't make it gets screwed.

 

^ the guy who got the ticket can do anything he wants with it even sell i mean her deserved it. He gotten the ticket in the first place for hard work in the forum, he should be able to sell to someone if he can't go.

Then you'd just be wasting a ticket that was meant for a member of the forum to someone who may or may not contribute to this site. The point of us giving away tickets is so we can get people to give us new info on SC2, not so you can sell it off for your personal financial gain.

 

no, i want to go but i can't so i might as well sell it(in case if i win) for someone who would really want to go. ofcourse he bought it and that means he really wanted to go and he just don't have the time to join the contest etc. On my part, yes i gain money but i also gave someone something that he likes but instead of doing something he just paid for it.

 

You can just submit that other person under your account or give it to them if you win but you can't sell the ticket. That's against the rules.

 

The contest is rather unfair to any new member. There are at least a dozen old members with over 5,000 posts. At 20 posts per ticket chance, that is about 250 tickets to each of them.

Also, since there are two BlizzCon badges.. and two ways to earn raffle tickets. Will 1 user be chosen from the first method of gaining tickets, and another from the second method?

Edit: Additionally, what if a user wins but is unable to attend BlizzCon. Does he/she get to give his spot to someone he chooses?

 

Any member whether he has 20 posts or 2,000 has ONE chance automatically if he submits to the contest. You can earn additional tickets by having referrals.

And yes, if you win you can transfer your ticket. But you cannot SELL IT! Don't apply if you're not going.

 

No one has 5000 posts... yet.

The contest, as far as I understand it, is only open to people with 20 posts or more, not that it gives you an extra ticket for every 20 points.
