    Not because im joining, but for balance, I think you should remove the map Lost Temple. The map is pretty imba in TvP and sometimes even in TvZ, because of the cliffs at the expo. I know the players have to choose, but the Final match will be played with 5 games or so right (it should at least, then its really funny and a bit more fair)? This map would be a good one, and a funny one (and balanced):
    (2) Sin Peaks of Baekdu
    So remove LT and add SPB!

    This tournament is meant for beginning players. It doesn't cater to pro gamers.

    The idea isn't to have balanced maps, it's to have familiar maps.

    The last series of maps will be decided upon by the participants. All other rounds the maps will also be decided individually.

    I know, but its especially at low skill lvl that those cliffs matter, because you dont know how to react against it. But if the players can pick the maps instead then its of course ok, its just because its about prices...

    Well there are "sets" but the map for each set can be determined by the finalists. And in a case of an argument about it, then I will choose the maps. :D
