All 1st edition pets should be given out on that way atleast IMO.

 

No that wouldn't be good, cause most owned pets are 1st edition anyway.

I think all collectibles should be handled that way, and all first edition pets that cost more then 5k, or if they are sold out now.

Maybe, and if it gets out of hand, I will clean it up and lock it. But I would like to give people the chance to comment on it, also if there is good disscussion going on in there, it's more likely to be seen by people.

 

You mean "by people" I assume, not my people.

Well I guess that makes sense. More people will see it that way.

 

And so the stock market collapses. Anyway, I think sc2 should send a PM to all the members to make sure. Some could say that they didn't read it / how were they supposed to find it by themselves. But kudos for the effort for trying to do it the hard way.

There no point in any further discussions about the following ::

• What is worth keeping and what isn't.
• How it should be done.
• Who should do it.

It's already decided. All attempts are being made to keep as much data as possible.

You are still invited to share your ideas about what shinny new options you'd like to see implemented into the next generation of the best SC2 community site on the net.

I'm sure more than a few of you have a genius idea that would be a great community builder.

Should we remove our stuff from the trade centre? Maybe those items are somehow different and could be lost or something.

 

They are still viewable in your profile Kuvasz, so there shouldn't be any problem, as long as no one buys, which could create a lot of confusion.

 

Are we still retaining power levels / number of posts / minerals?
I mean the whole USSR awaits my 150 minerals to save their economy! The global warming is tuning it!

 

As far as I know only the shop is going to dissapear in the transition.

 

I wouldn't mind a power level reset actually. And a post count reset to decrease my sadness rating ;D

I hope the new engine will load as smoothly as this one.

I dont think posts should be reset, it would cause confusion for new members.

Imagine being new, and seeing someone like LK with 3 MS and less than 100 posts. You would assume that either A. They were extremely cheap, or B. someone else gave them to him.

Even after being explained about why to post count is low, they would still not understand how/why the counts were reset and would worry if it would happen again.

 

I do not want the post count reset, I have yet to break 1k and don't want to wait another 9 months to get there.

 

Post count won't be reset, nor will ranks.

Power levels however.... I am trying to port them across but having no luck at the moment. If I don't manage to do it, then they will be lost.

However, in either case a better system will be implemented so instead of limiting giving the same person 1 power level per few days, we will limit the amount of power levels 1 user can give out to anyone (so they will be allowed to power only 1 person up per week for eg). Hopefully, people will think more before using up that power level and get rid of all the problems we've been having with this system.
