thats why i didnt like the pow reset, you can get some really amusing threads, get to know more of the user by his post, and get some reasons why his power level changed like that, the power level system is a really good reference.

i mean, i couldn't have known why admiral Ackbars power lever is like that if i didn't know what he posted that caused the people to form an angry mob and started.... uhhh.... mobbing him.....

SC2Forums, but what happens if I get the money and all the pets I had are sold out? That wouldn't be fair just because they got their first when we didn't go to the forums for one day. What if The update is done during midnight but then somewhere else in the world, they buy all the First Edition pets?

 

That's why you were supposed not to buy anything before the move

 

I have a few more questions that I would like to see answered.

Will we get a new way to arrange pets and items? The current system is to weird to understand, because you have to buy your own stuff and all that, which doesn't even work all the time.

Will the interest rates get a reset? I really hope they won't, because I worked hard for that worker drone. You know, at the Fact File board, which is currently offline.

Which brings me to my last question: will the Fact File be revived? I really hope it will, because I still have all of the old code, and I want to add Starcraft 2 stuff into it from now on.

 

i just hope that it wouldn't change that much, like we just move anything to the new boards but will remain still the same,
with a few tweaks

 

Can we have race Specific Titles, instead of cannonfoder? Like Zerglings for Cannonfodder, Roach for recruit and Zealot, Stalker, Marine and Reaper? Would be nice

 

Emm the site was down for an hour, I thought when I next come, we will be on the new engine but ....

So, whats going on? I thought the move is going to happen today since the forums were blocked, and then nothing happened. All admins disappeared, any clarification please?

 

Simmer down. I believe part of the DB has been transferred. Some more should happen at some point today.

 

Hey Jon can you explain why only some members can get on? Cause I'm talking to kuraikozo on another site right now and she says everything she does still say the site's going under maintenance even though we have a few members on now she can't get on.

 

Beacause these forums are only for the REAL men!

 

Well... I think what's happening right now (I'm not 100% because even I'm not priviledged with up to the second info) is that the forum is actually migrating right now.

So certain members are getting taken out while others being left in as they are "copied" over. So certain people can't log in.

Then, in addition, as the site migrates it's slowing the server. So users with a slower connection can't access the site.

 

Emm k thanks Jon I'll tell them I was just curious as to why I could get on and she couldn't.

 

Be a little bit patient. After a few hours, or at least tomorrow, we'll have a much faster site that has better features!

 

Yea, I was met with the good ol' maintenance message for a good few hours. Does the fact that I can get on now mean the overhaul is done?

 

IMO The layout is worser then the old one (Im a hater of Bulletin Boards layout), and there is no link to "portal" from forums. Im constantsly using the "back" in my internet browser, and that takes time. Im really hoping the Admin will improve this, because right now, this is only 25% as good as the old one. 25%!!!
And I dont want to be a forum junkie!
