    Your monthly report had all that?

    Hmm.. that's interesting, perhaps they were already considering making those changes, and your report (along with with a couple other reports with similar opinions) just solidified their decision.

    Can we look at the report somewhere or is it secret? Remy gave a preview but I can´t remember the Version that was send to Blizzard.

    The loss of the statis orb is quite tragic. From what I heard from Blizzcon it was a great anti-air unit. It also sounded like an itneresting support unit too. However, I'm worried about early game anti-air. Sure theres the Stalker, but I'm not sure it its all that resilient, it does have blink though.

    However..... this does leave an opening for a unit. Many people are calling for the Star Relic, but why not the Reaver. Give it a missile based attack that can hit air and ground, maybe even some splash. Then, we can give it usefulness late game by giving it a scarab manufacturing upgrade, researchable in the Robo Facility or something. This will allow it to produce a few scarabs at a time. It will be more of a supplement to its attack, adding damage via the scarabs. However, if you're crafty I'm sure you can use it for a good old reaver drop.

    cobras slow?!? now what do the terrans have for fast attack units? (other than the reaper)

    *Breathes a sigh of relief* I thought we weren't going to see anything new this week.

    I really like how they changed the Cobra - I knew that it needed some sort of revamp but I couldn't quite think of how to do it. Blizzard nailed it.

    However, I hope that they don't end up scrapping the Thor. Although to be honest I have no idea as to what they should do because it definitely overlaps a little bit with the Siege Tank. Blizzard definitely cannot take out Siege Mode, but the Thor and its Bombardment are too cool.

    there simply no point of thors when you have siege tanks. Plus if you leave the thor alone, it cannot survive on its one, siege tanks on the other hand can, unless their air unit of course. So i say scrap the thor and make a new super unit like a super air craft or something

    great Q & A! there hasnt been any good ones for a while

    will the cobra keep the "move and shoot" mechanic with this new attack?

    also the star relic had hallucination, like the HT from SC1.

    I really liked #4 - Colossus stepping over depots (and possibly other buildings). I liked the idea that it can stand on top of the depots and let tanks to splash over the depots, allowing the toss troops to hit w/e behind the depots.

    @burkid.

    Yea I forgot to mention that the Star Relic also has hallucination. :powerup: for correcting and mentioning about it.

    lol...we've been drooling over this thor sensation since the beginning, and now that my glands are dry, i wouldnt mind them scrapping it and making an even sicker unit...honestly blizz, dont take too long with sc2 or well need sc3 as soon as its done with :p ...kidding...they better add unit/zerg this friday...

    was a bad read on my part didnt notice that it said they slow down units >_<
    this new thing with the defense matrix seems interesting i wonder how large their aoe will be....

    ZOMG they cant scrap the THOR! This may kill some people to read, but I'd rather the Siege Tank got cut! Perhaps Siege Tanks can have long range, and the Thor is short range heavy assault unit that can deal large single damage to units. The terrans dont really have a hard hitting assault unit. They can only siege the enemy with tanks. Basically no more AoE for Thor! Hell they should give the Thor Rail Guns with some kick! Dual Miniguns FTW! + Missle launchers on its back that require energy or cooldown and deal large AoE damage in an instant. Scrap the Plasma Torpedoes :p. (Sorry for creating thor thread)

    axe the thor? that is CRAZY! cut the siege tank NOT something new like the thor.

    COME ON BLIZZARD. CNC3 have juggernauts. Starcraft is the future and it need something like the thor and not old vehicles like tanks.

    i dont mind if they have overlapping roles. its like you get to have to options to choose from... thor or siege tank, depends on the situation or what you prefer. lore wise it doesn't matter.. overlapping will win wars.

    and max cap should be 300. ang change the pistols of the reapers to something powerful. and add another static base defenses. come on. new units etc. day and night should be implemented. change the thor artillery attack animation, it doesn't look powerful. 8)

    The Siege Tank is a classic unit that will never ever be cut. That much I can guarantee you.

    I think they will just have to. If the Colossus can walk over a friggin cliff, then a puny Supply Depot shouldn't be so hard.

    i dont want siege tanks to be removed in the game. but to pick between the siege and the thor. il go for the thor. ^^

    this is sc2. i dont want seeing and playing units the same way as starcraft 1.

    Yea I understand, but the Siege Tank is such classical unit that the SC community would burn if they dared remove it. Siege Tank makes Terrans... Terrans... lol
