Starcraft II Update - Tauren Marine

Hah! I got a kick out of that. It does suck that blizzard had to take time off making sc2 for this, but still it's funny. I accually think they did a good job with making this unit, even though it won't be in the game .

 

Ya know I hope they put this in the editor or on a campaign map as an easter egg like how they put hydras in WC3

I think it will only be in the editor, along with the axed units.

Hey welcome back Long, I missed your stab happy Zealot.

I wouldn't mind a Night Elf Queen, Orc Marauder, Tauren Marine, and Undead Zealot in the map editor.

There better be some Diablo easter eggs later too.

 

Lol, i'd laugh soooo hard if the Aprils Fool joke was that they actually DID make it into the game.

But that would be really sad.

 

They are going to be in the map editor apparently.

 

Omg wtf, the new marine is sooooooo rigged. It took out like 20 marines in like 5 seconds! Blizzard should scrap this stupid unit!

i think the tauren marine is a stupid idea it ruins the whole believable aspect that the orginal game had. this shouldnt be put in. i believe the designers should rethink this one. If its a balance issue that they are having they should just create a "HUMAN" equivalent not some crazy tauren marine which belongs in WC3 and WOW

Although, that would make a nice cheat that turns SCII units into the units you listed....

map editor i suppose will contain a lot of these spoof units...

 

protoss should have the night night elves as they zelots lol, and the zerg have an undead warrior as their zergling lol

 

Orc Marauder would work, Undead Zealot would work, Tauren Marine has been shown to work.... but how would a Night Elf Queen work exactly? Orcs, Undead, Tauren, Maruaders, Zealots, Marines and Night Elves are all humanoid. I too would like to see some other WarCraftIII units in StarCraft2 armament, that way the Tauren Marine won't be a loner, but the Queen doesn't fit the shape of a Night Elf.

 

Who cares? It'll look awesome either way.

 

What do you mean who cares? If it can't be done then it can't be done. You can't just say 'do it anyway' if it won't work in the first place.

They could just stick a Night Elf body on a Queen's legs, it's not that complicated. Top half Night Elf, bottom half huge insect thing.

 

They should just make zerg undead and toss or someone else NElf
