Space serves the same purpose as ocean, tar and lava. They wouldn't have a completely different function for space than they do for the same thing in different style maps. If something is able to pass over the water or lava, then it would be able to pass over space.
They were always floaty, but I guess it's different with these graphics. I much prefer the floating Archons, now that the legs have been removed, and the High Templar were always supposed to levitate. I don't reckon these are too floaty at all. They're both beasts of exceptional psychic potential, so levitation should come naturally to them.

I think saying that they're impossible is a little extreme. They'd be harder to play in a lot of maps, but not impossible. They've still got a solid air force capable of both attacking and defending.
However, let's be logical here. Blizzard would not release StarCraft2 without giving Zerg a proper way to transport their Ground units from island to island.

I like the Ghost's new passive ability. It had already been set up as an Anti-Caster units, and now it's more so than ever before.

Yep, and it is cool lorewise, to detect energy users, it fits the ghost's Supernatural Abilities ;)
I also think the ghost should be cliff climber. like Colonel Burton on C&C generals, and be able to leap rivers and lava, after all, the ghost is the Terran in the top physical conditioning ;)

Intresting, that would make it very usefull. And after all, Im one of those that want the Reaper removed, so there would be a place for him!
But perhaps it would get to strong, or to much a super unit.

I don't think they are poor, but they make it harder to see what is going on. First thing I noticed was that in SC1 the shadows are directly under the unit more or less, while in SC2 they cast much longer shadows.

I don't think the lair looks smaller in fact I think it looks a little too much like the protos tower in BW because of the claws coming from its sides.

The placement is so stupid. Air units don't even seem to be flying, and the shadows are longer than the unit as if there was a sunset which we know there isn't.

Does anyone know what 30 yards equates to in Starcraft? I find that it is a very strange unit of measurement to use in a RTS video game.

That confused me too. I just hope he isn't referring to acres when he said that. If that was the case, you could put a Ghost in the middle of a 64x64 map see pretty much every caster on it. It's like a Sensor Tower that doesn't give away your position.

So, ghosts can detect units in the fog of war like the sensor tower, but my question is:
If a unit with energy is in normal sight range and is cloaked, will the ghost uncloak it and make it attackable?
