I wonder how Transferring could work.

Could it be like Ogre Tactics, where you sacrifice some energy, to give more energy to give someone else more energy, or even exchange?

Transferring between units of the same type?
Unless transfer is long range, why not cast with the second unit, rather than transferring from it.

    Different Types
    Can all units transfer, organic-> mechanic->TArchons ?

    Who has the ability
Will the unit with transfer send out energy, or take energy from someone else.

Defiler's create energy, will protoss create energy?

transfering energy is useful if no units have enough energy. I'll give an example:

Say you have 2 HTs with your army but they both only have 50 energy. Your opponent desides to attack. Now in sc1, your HT could only sit back and watch as your forces are being decimated.

However, in sc2, you decide to have one HT transfer his energy to the other HT. Now one HT has 100 energy instead of only 50. You can now cast psi storm and watch as the enemy forces become heavily damaged and retreat. Whereas in sc1, you would be toast.

meh cant wait to just plunk down a ton of towers around a pylon in the middle of the map and then put a mothership and cloak all the turrets, just a little off topic but yeah.

the energy transfer thing will be great but i still think there should be this unit that has energy out the wazoo to be like a filler for the others or maybe a building, were they can recharge at.

    i think...well...
i think that the force field should be channeling..dont u guys think? i guess it could be cast and run away...but, wouldnt it make more sense if it was channeling? like the Nulifier is powering the force field so that it wont go away?

and i think the energy exchange should cost mana, so it wount fully give all its mana.

but yeah...if the Nulifier doesnt channel i dont mind, i would still be happy with it =]

Channeling would be nice especially lore-wise. It could work in a way that channeling makes the Nullifier passive with only a cancel button on its panel (much like how mutation works for the Zerg) and to counter it being killed instantly, just make the range as long as a siege attack. But if people think it's too warcrafty I don't mind it being a cast&run ability. Frankly, I don't care how it's done, I'm just happy the Protoss get a walling ability similar to what the Terran get.

Now this is kind of contradicting what Blizzard told us about walls in SC2 but it makes perfect sense that the races developed ways to hinder movement and not just the boring kill-as-many-as-possible abilities. I know the Protoss wall is far from permanent but it's invulnerable and the Terran one is permanent but a little awkward and it could even allow a few enemy units to pass in some cases. So they're basically walls but they differ in as many ways as the races themselves, which is cool. Now the big question is, what will the Zerg get? :p

    Lol ''slong''

I wanna know if the nydus worm can be re-used, that way you could set up a wall and when you wanna let units thru you can make it burrow.

Probably far to expensive. And probably too fragile as a wall.

Oh? I've never seen them get owned by stalkers, I remember the Stalkers killing the reapers then the Nydus worm popped out releasing Zerglings, they ran, died. Then Colossus and 12+ Zealots attacked it.

That guy likes Protoss a wee bit too much, and thinks he knows more about starcraft lore than Blizzard themselves...

The site says protoss players rule and zerg players are scum...where would I fit playing zerg in sc1 and planning to play protoss in sc2?

It may be propaganda, but I find it funny that he thinks he knows more about sc lore than karune.

The problem is solved when the universe is free of terran and zerg.
