Well you were more focusing on new ultralisk wile I looked only at old. And I kinda am here for about a day or less so you can't really say what I do in every post. I am sorry if I was irritating and will try to find more facts before posting anything.

But how will ultralisc counter marines? Will it have some kind of armor that takes half of range damage? Or will it be faster?

 

so its been taken out, but if you look closer, in SC1 the Ultras started out with 1 armor and the Chitinous Plating gave the Ultras +2 to armor, in SC2 they start out with 3 armor, so in a sense they already have the upgrade done.

weather a unit is consider a tank or not, is a matter of opinion, and i cant really say which is more cost effective til Beta when we have more info to get it from, but i said this once and ill say it again, just because it can do well at other stuff, doesnt mean it cant be effective at being a tank.

"doesnt mean it cant be effective at being a tank." BUT never cost effective against anything that it doesnt counter. Thats the important part.
