StarCraft Haikus!

I have removed my rape themed haiku.  I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone who may have been offended by it.  It was shortsightedness on my part, I failed to consider the possibility of someone else finding it to be offensive.

No one has to believe me, but I mean my apology from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry.  This is the closest thing to taking administrative action against myself as I could think of.  Again, I'm really sorry.

Well me too, but with the whole "Remy v. Paragon" vibe everyone seems hell bent on making, I decided we should have three parties: Remyublicans, Paragonialists, and Communist....I'm in the last one ;D

 

there's a saying in Farsi that we say that sounds a lot better in Farsi but still rings true in English:

Seeasat pedar-madar nadarad.

Literally: Politics has no father or mother.
Figuratively: Politics is a bastard child./Politics is an illegitimate child.

It has been a while
Since my last Haiku arrived
I will post some more.

My Terran comments:
Thin, almost nonexistent.
I'll change that right now.

Invisible death:
Some Banshees and some missiles.
If there ever was.

A bomb or six men?
Which kind of death do you need?
The Ghost can bring both.

Planetary Fort,
Do your guns make you a god?
Or a sitting duck?

I will bet, right now:
The Nomad will be revamped.
Have any takers?

Reapers are useful,
But the Merc Haven? Really?
A battlefield bar!

The Viking is strange,
At home in air or on land,
But does it float, too?

Look, it emerges!
Erupting from the earth-- what?
A Supply Depot?

Don't need that Depot,
I would like a refund please.
Here is my receipt.
(Salvage)

It makes sense, I guess.
Build ground units from the ground,
Air units, the air.
(Starbase)

The Battlecruiser:
A choice between upgrades, guns.
Kill one or many?

Area defense.
The Predator, defender.
Psheew, shoot down missiles!

I am stopping now.
Too many to read at once.
You can have a break.

The ghost sneaks around
Sneaking, sneaking, without sound
*Boom* oh no, a nuke!

 

The Banshee, Wraith's child,
Turbofans, cloaking device,
Sweet scatter missiles.

Sadly, no AA,
Like Guardian, ground-only.
Valkyrie, reversed.

No more Goliath,
Lumpy Viking replaces,
It says, "Churn and burn!"

Built at Factory,
Twin chainguns, two legs, nimble,
Upgrade makes it fly!

Cobra, not Vulture,
I do not much understand.
Shoots while moving...fine.

Predator, fighter.
Shoots air and ground, one cool note:
It shoots down missiles.

Starbase: Starport plus,
Always lifted off, why land?
Build ships while flying.

People won't shut up...
About...what?, the Thor, quite big.
One shot: dead PF.

What is a PF?
Planetary Fortress, yup:
CC plus big guns.

Not just the PF
Many new buildings! Old changed!
I can't say enough...

better but on the first 1 you have to remember that when you put 's to a word it adds a syllable

 

Contraction: the point?
You cut down on syllables!
Don't you love cheating?

Doesn't always work...
"Doesn't", "you're", "they're"...see?
I say "here's" with one.

The fire consumed me.
Choice divided me swiftly,
to live or to die?

The blade came to life,
my answer was now chosen.
The blade made my choice.

Standing I prepared,
The berserk beast made one charge.
My blade cut it down.

More would follow now,
All would perish at my hand.
Now? Now I'm free.
