Starcraft 2 won't install..... At all

I have the same issue and although I cannot recognize the DVD on my PC I can read it in my laptop. So what I did is copy the whole DVD on an 8GB memorystick and then copy the content on a folder on my PC and start the installation from this folder. It worked fine. At least you will be able to play...

 

dvd drive can't find my cd

I have the same problem. My disc won't show up on my dvd drive. I tried to update the drivers for my dvd but still not working. I have a Samsung TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S203P. Thanks if anyone could help.

MalcolmC: Go to this site and run the "One Click Firmware Upgrade" link at the bottom. That should downloading and install any new firmware. Will this fix your issue? In most cases it hasn't fixed problems for people installing StarCraft II, but its worth a shot.
