Even if Fenix were to return, than how? Tassadar still have option of becoming T-con, which makes some sense. Fenix doesn't, becoming immortal isn't option anymore as well. What's left? Saying that cerebrate didn't manage to kill him after all? Even if it did make sense (which hardly does), I doubt Fenix would ever flee from battlefield.

fenix could return, even though he won't. The details on how they get templar into dragoons is very sketchy, in the campain it clearly states that fenix has died, not mortaly wounded. but then fenix says that they put his 'brocken' body into a dragoon.
Tassadar could never come back because he sacraficed himself to destroy the overmind, if he came back then there would be no honour in it

Well Fenix died as a dragoon, his dragoon was no different than any other dragoon except for maybe his hp/shields and photon disruptor doing more damage. Yet once a dragoon dies it dies, including Fenix's upgraded dragoon shell; so theres no doubt that hes not coming back. =/ As for our pal Tassadar he's long gone, and if he were to come back Artanis and a couple other protoss wouldn't be able to use the phrase "En Taro Tassadar" anymore.

Yeah nothing agianst them but heroes dying and being ressurected is way overdone, especially in comics. It takes away from the impact and hurts the story if the main characters keep dying and coming back.

But who wouldn't like him to come back? I mean COME ON! This is Sci-Fi anything is possible.

tassadar had to die. starcraft isnt a fairy tale. its more like a Frank Herbert's Dune sort of story. the only way for the future to occur is for many good people to die.

maybe fenix or tassadar will be a little voice in the player's head during the protoss campaign telling them to "use the psi" or some ****

They're probably going to add a bunch of new heroes and the old ones will die (maybe except Artanis and Jim, Zeratul should die in an epic fight imo), aaand btw, if any moderator read this, the Artanis icon (when you decide between which Avatar you want) shows Tassadar instead of Artanis

I just hope they won't overdo it, as someone said, heroes dying and coming back hurts the impact it has on the story.

I don't like artanis that much...I always liked zeratul, being the tragic dark hero and all. It's a fair chance that zeratul is going to be the new tassadar with sacrificing himself to destroy the hybrids or smthing like that.
