Kerrigan is more of a forceful evil while Duran is more of a sneaky scheming evil. I think that makes Duran more evil.

After 4 years, Samir Duran reveals himself as the next Xel´ Naga´s "kind of" cerebrate. His true mission on the BroodWar mission was all about gathering some information about the 3 races. So, the only choice for Terran, Zerg and Protoss is to make changes, in somekind of evolutionary process to stay alive.

Kerrigan´s ghost nature is giving a lot of new morphings to zerg units, and they´re less dependant for a controlling cerebrate... But still, they´ve the same brutal killer instinct.

Terran "human" nature is also changing,,, the only way to survive is to gather into teir soul´s searching for their evil side. Raynor´s rayders learned a lot about protoss and the are using this kwonledge to improve their technolgy... And Jim is focused in his main goal... destroy every single zerg and especially, beloved Sara hehe

Protoss lost their home,,, but the war is still on. Dark templars are now a big family with the normal ones, so they want Auir back. NO more games for protoss... now they´re goin´ for real..

So I can´t wait for the real storyline... I guess all this years will bring us a huge surprise.. lots of heroes, new and devastating units and powers, also upgrades---

Blizzard says that it will be more balanced... Now we only know a few things about each race... Protoss are spectacular... so Terran and Zerg will follow the same path...

I´m gonna buy a all new computer just for the ocassion... this one is not worthy of SC2..

Since Aiur was completely owned at the end of broodwar, should Protoss so called have a good ending... Like maybe they should have their own planet back... What do you guys think? I mean most of all the Protoss endings were pretty dramatic. One with Tassadar blowing up overmind (nice cinematic) and other one with the two crystals (also good cinematic).

According to rumors there's a faction within the Protoss that's likely to take back Aiur in SC2.

yes there will definately be a protoss force ready to take back Aiur at the begining of sc2 campain. I wouldnt call it a bad ending for protoss because if it hadn't been for the destruction of Aiur then the conclave would never have allied with the dark templar and the overmind would still be here.
The merging of high templar and dark templar energies is what will save the protoss!

no, in the gameplay video: "In the destruction of Aiur in the events of Brood War, the Protoss have had to do something...." they won't try to take over Aiur.

A.Take back Aiur
B.Try and take back Aiur
C.make a new aiur if possible

the zealots were pissed or shamed that they lost Auir and will likely want it back. It being the homeworld and their life being for auir and all being for the homeworld or something like that.

Well, in order to judge this I would have t osee the progress that the toss have made in shakuras. With this info we could see if their forces are capable of taking Aiur back.

well the have the cheap dark templar contractors making their ships (tempest lacking air shields, etc) so that means they probably have more ships, and with overload and tempests, zerg are gonna get anally raped, overload decimating air, and tempests chewing through zerglings (i really want to see that now) and other ground units. then warp rays taking down buildings and stalkers cutting off their retreat, id say that the protoss can go claim aiur once more.

actually I've figured out that the ones that use the low bid contractors are the conclave (Aldaris is dead but they carry on in his wake) which means the mothership will probably be easy to destroy (exposed thermal exhaust port anyone?). The dark templar on the otherhand are just shoddy builders and make their things out of this weird bluish/silverish chrome material (chrome looks shiny but sucks as a building material for war ships).

well if the conclave wants to make the MS weak, then its their own lives that they are throwing away, since they are the ones piloting it.

As long they don't ally with Terrans, keep the 1v1v1 :thumbup:
Suposing Blizzard will add an expansion to SC2 (Like all of the other games except WC1/D1) I don't think anything dramatic like the destruction of Shakuras will happen, but I have no idea how it could end.

The campaign will probably revolve around Protoss and Terran alliances, following in Jimmy's footsteps and the universal need to stop the Zerg. The Protoss probably will not have a fairy tale ending, Aiur will probably be on the list of many things to do, but the conflict has really weathered Protoss warrior numbers... unless what I said earlier comes into play, then HOORAY! FAIRY TALE ENDING!

the protoss didnt actually lose that much, there empire consists of hundreds of worlds, although the loss of Aiur probably limits their production to like 40% of what it was.

The terran campaign will actually probably focus on the terran Dominion and raynor will be a part of the protoss campaign. This makes it 1v1v1 because the Dominion does not associate with aliens. Mengsk said so in his inauguration speech.

70% of the protoss population has been killed in the destruction of Aiur. Says so on the official pages. My guess is that, no matter what the storyline twist will be, the protoss will get fucked even more.

I wouldnt be surpried if all but zeratul are killed off, I'd hate for it to happen but who know? it might.
