    #4 on the Q&A Batch

That's a really good question. Imagine if you blink a fair distance behind the BC as the Yamato energy is released. Does that mean the beam makes a U-turn and makes contact with the stalker? I'd like to see that animation!

Maybe they should have it such that if you are targeted Yamato style, then it locks blink? Might be easier to program.

After watching the terran video, the bunkers have a light that goes on inside when the marines go in, so is that not visual enough evidence of occupation?

    yah tnx for the update.

    ghost useful in early games.

so then axed forget the firebat.

i really am not a fan of stalkers. i think anyone can micro blink them etc and think that they are pros. blizz is really excited about this "unique and great tactic" which is NOT, and NOT really a pro thing. even a 12 year old can hit blink run blink hit etc. a 12 year old playing DOTA and uses blink and other abilities effectively is almost the same as microing your stalkers except they die quickly unlike heroes in warcraft.

dont get me wrong but I LIKE the skill. but i was just wondering why blizz is exaggerating and hyping about it.

i really think stakers will be a multipurpose unit like the dragoon even tho they have low hp than the dragoon they can still BLINK. i think they should be NERF DOWN a bit or it will be be the most useful and "necessary all the time" unit. anyway i think stalkers are somehow imba and MULTIPURPOSE so

i say a maximum of 3 blinks on max energy of a stalker. and 6 seconds cooldown time. and have a very very very low hp.

colossus should take a long time before it can be loaded in the phase prism. or it will be imba... and yah 1 colossi per phase prism.

in SC1 3 collecters was generally the max number of you could put on a geyser without them sitting idle for any time. This of courese is based on distance so a geyser further away mght have 4 or 5

wow a lot of Prottos haters here, id say that stalkers should still not be killed if the yamato gun was shot. Also when it will come to the game you wont have stalkers just fighting against a battlecruser you'll have other things to consider so some level of skill will be needed. Yamato should just hit the target and deal splash damage like a mine, and who elver is its field will take damage. so if the stalker blinked a little distance then it can still be killed.

Also i think stalker isnt that needed with a unit like immortals, yet people liked a lot so they should give ti some more unique skills, which would make it more like a specialist assassin. From what i noticed that SC2 doesnt seem to have any defense skills, they are all offense. so Stalker could have some additional defense skills which can make the uniot a very powerfull asset but a hard one to control,

Nice Q&A. The Yamato tracking a blinked Stalker makes sense, but why would you waste a Yamato on a Stalker anyways? Few hits and it's dead.

Yeah. And I don't like the idea of yamato following stalker when it blinks.
I think it should miss it. As for the thor. Why do you need a tansportation
anyway? You can build it anywhere on the map for a short period of time.

I guess it's for dropping, since it's very hard to build a Thor right by someone's base without getting noticed.

I think that is the point. By that argument we should remove the "Nuklear launch detected" warning since it is very hard to "call down the Thunder".

they planned on making all units warp-inable with different upgrades(batch 1) the DT can be warped in, and isnt build from the gateway/warpgate. We already saw the mothership being warped in

uhh yeah the DT is built in the gateway... always has been.

and the MS was warped in to make a dramatic entrance in the initial gameplay video.

and as you said, batch ONE they had upgrades for everything to be warped in, this is batch FOURTEEN.

Lots of random comments here that have no meaning. Makes me think a lot of people haven't been reading enough of the forums. Lol ;)

@ Zeratul11 , the blink ability of the stalkers has a significant cooldown period and can be altered so as to balance the ability in actual gameplay. Also, as a side note, I think it's a huge mistake to actually try to make this game for pro players. The original game wasn't designed that way and neither should be its predecessor. Of course there's going to be "newb"able units, but that doesn't take anything away from the game except that more experienced players will come up with different ways to counter the ability using the different races.

@ Alukard , The Immortal is not, repeat NOT a sufficient replacement for the Dragoon. Especially since it apparently (as far as I am aware) doesn't target air units. It is simply a damage shield, nothing more.

I was thinking for the transportation of the thor, you notice how the starbase has clamps on the bottom of it?, well sort of. Have those clamps attach to the thor and transport it when flying. I always wondered what upgrades does the starbase give the starport...
