    You mean more than your 4MB signature?

    Such project like Starcraft 2 has to be delayed, it just cannot be released at the very first date the development team thought about. There are just too much things to think, discuss, confirm, develop, pay, test, improve, revise, advertise, finalize etc.

    Let Starcraft 2 grows as much as necessary.

    I just happen to love 4 megabyte signatures.

    The people who told about this postponement then either referred to an internal date, either to a psychological date the community pictured by itself.

    Anyway, postponed or not, I think we will have to be used with that, because it will probably not be the last one, imaginary or not...

    Enjoy the other games meanwhile.

    since I can't wait to get my hands on both of these games, whichever comes out first is fine by me, because eventually I'll be playing both

    Well with WOW expanison coming out in a few months. We can wait untill next year. Why? Because someone said it would be bad business, for 2 games to come out nest to each other. Don't know why. Warcraft fans are loving it right now. Can anyone hear the screams of "YES!" I can. The only relsease date we have, is the one we think its coming out at. I wonder if they are going to do some random animal, like in Warcraft 3. I mean like a level for them.

    StarCraft II and Diablo III are hardly competing products.

    They both compete for time and dollars, but often not the same audiences.

  10. For most companies.. yes.. But, I know of a lot of World Of WarCraft players that have methodically played past Blizzard games just because it's made by Blizzard.. Even as far back as Blackthorne and Lost Vikings.

    AMEN!

    I wonder if this will kill the rumor:

    This'll do it:

    Rumor more thoroughly debunked:

    He's specifically debunking the rumor of StarCraft II having a "shrunken" team.

    Meh

    Well, it sounds like they are consolidating their resources to get D3 out first. Get it done, get it out and such. The good news is that once it is out of the department, their resources go to the other end of the spectrum and consolidate on Starcraft 2.

    We've waited 10 years. It'll be out when it's out. And in the meantime the "miniscule" amount of team members left on it can tinker with the fairly stable game they already have.

    I am extremely worried about this piece of news: if they are planning to release D3 first, given what I think about the current progress of its development, that would mean at least having to wait up to three or fours years....

    I love the Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo series, but I never thought about playing The lost vikings, Wow or Ghost personnally.

    Yes and no.
    If D3 and SC2 would be released the same month, they would compete each other, and that would be a really stupid, strange marketing planning, but if they are released at least 5 or 6 months one after the other, this wouldn't really harm the sales to me, as these both titles have strong online communities and backgrounds.

  15. ^Yeah, that's the news I was talking about when I said there might be a general idea of a release date among Blizzard employees.

    @Seyla

    The StarCraft team will work on StarCraft. The Diablo team will work on Diablo. Rarely do the do anything together or do anything but that (Except to do late minute testing of internal alphas.). So, even if there are 1,000 people on the Diablo team. It will not hurt the StarCraft team. Blizzard may as well be three separate companies at the moment.

    @ItzaHexGor

    Hmm.. Darn.. I thouht I was making up a unique joke.. Oh well, it came from my own thoughts :D

    Also, I was talking to another person. Not you.. I agree with you one hundred percent. I even "Thank you" 'd your post.

    Also, what about several well-placed Ghost-lasered Nukes? Would that wipe out their backups you think? :D

    No way... why listen to Diablo people if you can't listen to Warcraft people? They would never postpone
    Starcraft II, everyone is excited about it, and if it comes out after Diablo III, then many people will be disappointed. And I expect that Diablo III will not be released until at least 2 years after Sc2's release so the games don't compete against each other and they make a maximum amount of money as possible.
