There is going to be unlimited unit selection. So you can always have more.

Woops didn't see that he was already told.

That's good to hear. I got sick ages ago playing SC1 and only controlling 12 units per group.
Are you sure bout this? Unlimited?

And how is that unfair? A collossus isn't a ground unit it is a hybrid unit. If your head is as tall as the Sears Tower, I think you can be considered air. Besides its Blizzard, they will find some way to balance it. The way I see it, nothing is fair or unfair. They have a bunch of SC pros working with them too, and they would weed out balance weaknesses like THAT! (Pretend I snapped my fingers)

Pretty sure. I read it in an interview or something and since there is always space for more in the video I'm guessing it' no rumor.

I'm pretty excited about it too. It will be a LOT esier to group units, especially when playing zerg.

Actually, the shots of the Turrets hitting the Collosus maybe based on an earlier build. If you remember early shots of SC original, the Terran turrets would fire at ground units.

seems blizzard has already considered and decided though. turrets have been set not to target any of the other smaller ground units. and it's only logical since the turret is so small.
chances are the turret will remain able to hit tall units unless they make the turret bigger?

also....think there might be a specific armor-class for air units like other games? turret might shoot missiles designed to inflict max-damage on light-armor airs rather than heavy ground. then again BCs and mothership.....light missiles wont exactly work on them lol. hmmmm armor-classes of light-to-heavy for air and ground? 0_o. just a thought

As we have seen, the Colosus is a very high unit, so for the anti air turrents it could be a posible target
on the other hand, this version of the game is still a beta, so a lot of things can be changed before the release

I'v noticed the Hydralisks have not made an apearance yet at all. I mean, in the art work trailer with the swarming Zerglings, they should have put some Hydralisks in that raid. Hopfuly, they havent finished the Hydralisk model for SC2. I would hate to know the Hydralisks will not be in the game.

Of course, they would have to keep some of the original units. Else the players would be unsatisfied with the effort Blizzard has put in SC2.

WarCraft 3 has every WarCraft 2 unit except sea units. Blizzard wouldn't just axe units for no reason. Hydra will therefore most definitely stay.

I think thats seeing a pylon or phase prism would make you aware of the possibility of Protoss appearing.

I read in an interview that currently you are able to select an unlimited number of units at once, they also said this was likely to change and have a cap. It will probably be pretty high cap though, better than the horrible 12 unit cap in SC. You are also able to select multiple buildings at once by Shift-Clicking them, but not by dragging over them. Just like in WC3.

I think it's just enemy attacks. All enemy attacks, not just the missiles.

According to the Q&A posted over in Announcements, it is all enemy attacks. He said that "missiles" were featured because they were obvious, but it will affect all bad attacks. Interesting to see the beam slow animation though. Or the nuke.
