You might be able to play on medium, low medium. But we won't know until you try for real.
    What resolution?

Will Sc2 take advantage of multi GPU cards or setups?

Im pretty sure it will just double checking..

@aem1: I agree with Ste, medium to low-medium most likely.

And I am almost certain it will take advantage of multiple GPU. The question I'm most curious about is to what extent will blizz utilize multiple threads to improve the performance of multi core CPUs. Didn't they say the systems they ran it on at blizzcon last year were quad core? If so that leads me to believe they either just threw a lot of power in those boxes to say they did it, or they are offering some more complex threading, which would really be a lovely addition, especially to cut down on some of the system stress for those using laptops with dual core CPUs. Time will tell i suppose.

    To A milli:

It just means you need to download an OS X installer from battle.net. Then you can use that to install your Starcraft. And play it like new. Just play it in windowed mode and you're set to go.

    And to find the rest:

    Go to the finder
Go to the Apple menu and click on about this mac.
The in the box that appears click on the More Info . . . button.
And all of your Mac's specs are there.

And lastly classic environment is basically the old system 8 and system 9. Both of which are old and used by nobody anymore you can't even load them up on your intel mac anymore.

    I have an

    Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (dual core)
    2 gb ram
EVGA Geforce 8800 GTX with 768mb ram

I may have a new computer by the time SC2 is released.
My next computer will have an AMD quad core cpu, at least 6gb ram,
and the fastest Geforce graphics card.

After seeing the gameplay videos, does anybody else think that SC2 is the MOST AMAZING looking game EVER?! It makes your jaw drop. I can't believe how much work they put into it! It's like they put 10 times more work into it than they had to. That must've cost a lot of money and hundreds of people! I think this game will be something really big like Halo 3 was for the xbox 360. I'm a big Halo fan and I think SC2 is THE next big game on the level of Halo 3's success. The fact that they expect us to pay $150 for all 3 games shows what a big deal they think it is. I think SC2 could be a killer app for the PC. It might bring more gamers back to PC's from the consoles. One thing that made Halo 3 great was the massive amount of work they put into it. They had 300 people working on it for a few years. It looks like SC2 has even more work put into it. That gives the game so much polish, depth, and richness of content. I think SC2 will be something super special.
