I voted that it will be unusually balanced since they have pros working with the team. But if it is it will be terran. They have too much versatility.

yea i voted unusually balanced too.

also, we don't know much about the terran and zerg.

so don't say the protoss are overpowered... yet!

I said zerg, cause I think they may make some units too strong for their mass strats. (And more so with no limit on selecting.)

every game blizzard made was balanced. i m sure it will be their prime priority to do that in sc2.

kind of a dumb poll. we aren't fortune tellers. and you cannot make speculations from starcraft 1. it's totally different.

I'm not sure if Warcraft 3 was so well balanced and in wc2 only spells and some archer upgrades were different iirc - way to go to balance game by making races only look different.

it was great eh. orcs were rigged though. bloodlust > heal. death lich > mages
i filled a map to its brim with every unit in the game once n dey all vanished in 5 seconds of starting =/

i thought the protoss were =O everybody around me was like z0mg they so much health so powerful z0mgs too hard to kill invincible rigged technological alien bastards!

well I think calling anything unbalanced in game at this point and time is nub I mean how can you say its unbalanced when they havnt even shown us all the units :

In original Starcraft, several patches ago, the Zerg were drastically over-powered. There were serious balance issues with the Mutalisks especially, not to mention several terran units, like Vultures and Goliaths, were all but useless. There is more than that, many units had size changes, range changes, damage type changes, and damage amount changes. So anyone who thinks Starcraft was a well balanced game, obviously did not play it when it was newer, as the game was not balanced, and took years, many patches and alot of input to get the balance correctly. The small group of intial testers and beta testers will probably not be able to create a game of total/perfect balance once it is intially commercially released...it will take several years of fine tuning. Certain exploits get discovered long into a games existence.

Hmmm hmm hmm i'm gonna go on a long shot and say it'll be Terran, i think they are going to play a really huge role in this game and Blizzard might put too much emphasis on them instead of the Protoss or ZERRRG

then again it could be the complete opposite but whatever

My thoughts are that the Protoss will be less of a major player in the plot this time, since they were basically destroyed in Broodwar...I also think the Protoss will be more evil this time around...

Well a tough poll, but since we are all exited about the game and hoping for just alittle news, about the races, we can just as well kill some time.

I voted that it will be well balanced, but ofcourse we now that when first the masses get the game and suddenly a million+ is playing the game, they will start to find the uneven things, and change them in patches, so in the end it will be unusual well balanced.

Okay, Starcraft is known to be balanced. The only reason why people lose is because they're not using each unit's special ability, or they're just... dumb.
