Starcraft 2 Community Replays-Tips for a noob, from a noob.

I'm a gold level player and I have some games for you. You'll never be in short supply of zerg replays if you keep in touch with this guy

idk how to send replays, but I'm gonna try to do that right now... hmm... lets see if I can attach one here... I think I did this right...

agria valley: ZvT, muta harrass followed by lots of pretty ultras. Terran gets MM and thors, but I attack while his army is gone and take out his base. Key to fighing Terran when they go for that build (or really most builds) is to cripple them before attacking their army head on.

Metalopolis: short ZvZ showing effective use of the baneling bust

Metalopolis(2): ZvT game, a little bit longer where I get a few more expos than usual to overwhelm the opponent with lots of big stuff and try to maintain map control.

to everyone-thanks for keeping up! i see even my first video is catching wind so hopefully we can start something here!
-also thanks for the videos! i never expected this many vids on my first couple weeks. i literally have about 8(including two of mine, but those are if there arent enough terran, and trust me, there isnt XP shockerr!!
but dont be discouraged. i made one of my days possibley hw free so hopefully thatll work out to more videos than i expected per week. im thinkings +2/week now. .

to prawn-holy crap thats alot ur gonna keep me busy, but i love zerg replays so ill possibley do one of yours by this week. i say possibely because i have 3 zerg games in stock, 2 terran(mine), a 2v2 and 2 toss. i want to get a terran and toss game out before i do one of yours.

it looks like you posted two links to the second part, and it would be nice if you had a link to the other part below the videos.

also, it might help to watch the replays a few times beforehand and figure out what you want to focus on and make sure you don't miss anything.

another note for motown, use the 500 mineral rule. If you have more than 500 minerals, you have too much and you need to find a way to spend it. A good choice would be drones to make sure you're saturated, units of course, or upgrades. Definitely need that roach speed upgrade (only 100/100 and so helpful) If you minerals are absurdly high and you can't think of a way to spend them, make another expansion. 300 minerals + 50 per drone is a good mineral sink that will pay itself off and provide more gas.

 

Thanks Prawn , i've noticed that I'm not spending enough of my resources fast enough in most my games. I'll try working on that.

yay! I would submit better ones but I've been playing island defense nonstop lol. It was my favorite custom game over in wc3 and its still pretty awesome over in sc2

damn, I played horribly in that game. I forgot I sent you that one. I'm in the process of commenting directly on the video about the gameplay. I was gold at the time and iKarus is diamond as toss, but I've moved up to plat since then
