StarCraft 2 Beta LIVE!

Well, I got my Key! \o/
It arrived around 3 AM. I did download and install the game, but then, I got to go to work ¬¬
Tonight will be a night to remember!

 

In that pic hidden under the words is a link to download the OS X beta client. And yes Blizzard said OS X betas are not coming till later. It's strange they have a link for the OS X beta already. Does anyone know anything about this link and why it is there now? Instead of later when the OS X beta is here?

 

The link is dimmed. Not working. I tried, I own a Mac

 

Ah ok thanks for that. Not that it bothers me too much. I didn't get a beta key. But I'm not worried that I didn't get a beta key now. I have other games and things to do in life. I might watch the odd SC2 video from a player I think is a decent person. But other than that I want to come into the retail version with SC2 still new to me and not be all beta video'd out.

But does anyone know what regions have received beta keys so far? Is it just the United States or have people from other countries received beta keys yet?

http://www.fraps.com/ usually gets the job done for me. Everyone, and I mean everyone here needs to download FRAPS or the like and begin recording gameplay NOW.

 

Not everyone. You need to make sure you do these 2 things in order.

1. Get Beta key.
2. Download that and make Beta videos.

Some of us have not gotten past step 1 yet. I know I have not. Still waiting on the beta key.
But for those who have a beta key I agree make lots of videos

 

Just curious. To the people who did get invites, was there any issue with the email being filtered as spam? What address was the email sent from?

I don't want there to be any chance of somehow missing the email when it comes in (whenever that ends up being ).


Also, this may have been discussed before, but has there been any mention from Blizzard regarding stress testing the battle.net servers? If they do end up doing one there's at least some hope that most of us will for sure get a chance to play prior to release day. Although that's still way down the road.

does your battle.net account change if your included in the beta? or do you have to go through a certain link through the beta email?

I wont be getting a beta key unless I am the winner of the April fools contest which i really hope i am because i dam well am losing sleep over this game again!

 

It doesnt change.... You get your key in the email, than you add a new game in your account with that key. I then turns out to be the SC2 Beta ;-)

Lucky? I am agonizing here! I managed to install it just before work, I still didnt play it, I am DYING to get home, lol!

 

Common guys...how is the game ??? It was worthy to wait for it ????
