Eh, I don't know about this. I don't see how a "Bigger SCV" would be needed in a MP match. Maybe SP since it would be fun, along with the Dark Pylons...but I don't see why they would add that to MP.

If all this is true, rock on! A Beta is on the way. But...eehhh, I'm skeptical. Then again, I'm just a non-trusting kinda guy.

 

Hmmm ... Maybe these were things that were said to be in single-player but were misinterpreted to be in multiplayer? That would make sense.

 

Yeah, I enjoy games that have different SP elements and more of a "VS" type thing in Multiplayer. Gives SP more fun to actually play instead of just a tutorial to the game in general.

 

Am i the only one who finds the idea of a bigger scv amongst loads of little scv's mining a mineral patch... kinda.. strange?

from a visual POV that is.

 

I don't. It would be like a Marauder amongst Marines.
And just because it is known to us as "big SCV" doesn't mean it actually looks like a blown up SCV.

 

The "Big SCV" will be 2 x's the size of a regular SCV, and be colored bright pink.

 

so would the units go around it or straight through it?

 

all workers (except maybe the big SCV if its true, and even then it would probably still ->) have no pathing size when mining, while other units, like lots and such would stop and try to go around them, the workers just goes right through each other and other units.

 

soooo sexy news. Be sure, Jon to get as many beta keys as you can (500 should do) if Blitz gives out keys to fansites.


I hope I get into the beta, my computer would melt into nothingness from me playing it every free moment. Lets see how the Protoss are, I like the idea of pylons boosting probes and dark pylons.
