StarCraft 2 Beta 2.0 is Live!

Ok ladies!!! HERE IS WHAT JUST HAPENNED I tried loging in to the beta and it asked me for my Battle.net password. It then asked me to agree to the terms and stuff.... then it said I had to add SC2 to my games on Battle.net meaning the phase II of the beta is NOT OPEN and is only accessible to phase I beta key holders...

Please tell me I'm wrong!!

It's downloaded! I can tell they optimized the engine. Can't get onto bnet. Is it live? Is anyone online? Does any one here want to play with me?

 

there are over 600,000 people onlione playing the SC2 beta now. im one of them. 1v1 anyone?

 

I'm seeing over 600k people on too. The match maker is buggy as all **** though. Routinely telling me I can't queue because I already am when I'm not. It won't let me create custom games either.

Anyone else having these issues?

Addition: It's also saying zero SC2 games in my region and worldwide.

Cant play a game either

It is saying the same thing for me as well..... I was soo happy, now im soo sad.

Seriously, does anyone have a fix for this? And are people able to get on and play?

 

I sure hope Blizz has a fix for it. Since noone is able to play; one would imagine the problem must be on their end.

 

All across the Starcraft 2 forums people have been playing for a long time... They've already got 4-5 games played. Sadly you still need a key to get in

 

Considering everything else you've posted in here... I don't believe you. Not to mention the actual info bnet displays when you log in telling you zero games world wide....games can't be found.... games can't be joined... games can't be created... and; apparently trolls can't be sated.

No you just need a beta invite. People have already told you how to download the client. Blizz gave out invites like candy at the end of phase one, I don't know a single person opted in who didn't get one at the begining of the last week of phase one.

Well I didn't get one, and if you went to a real Starcraft forum, like the official one, you would see tons of pictures and videos, but this place is so inactive I doubt anyone got in..

Can't join/create any games...I'm going out all day and the engy update is tomorrow so i hope this is fixed in the next hour >>

 

its going to take a while, everyone waited to get in so it's flooding the system, there will never be this many people on at one given time, but since everyone has been waiting, yeah this is the most and it pretty much crashed the servers.

Its really all your fault, your so selfish to get into the beta that you crashed it.

Theres something wrong with mine, says it has an invalid version, even though it updated. Any help here guys?

 

This test was entirely to see if that flooding could be handled.

And since more peeps without the beta key will still need to start playing, I doubt this is the most activity it will get.

 

Although I keep on checking, I wouldn't expect the beta to be playable until tomorrow.

 

Actually this is a very vague topic that is deliberately not specific, the fact that people went off topic is perfect evidence that this thread's purpose is shrouded in vagaries, and that its so uncertain, and their is mass hysteria on bnet with over 500k people who can't play games, that this forum will descend into total anarchy. Some users are Dark Templar so watch out.

 

Yep well its nice having beta back but they need to fix the auto search for the leagues and vespene gas artifact on the desert maps.
