    I think we should focus on trying to figure out how to solve this. The problem for me is that I registered and when I try to log on its says its not registered. I have been able to get in with the guest account.

    Is the recommended step reinstalling from the CD or should we download the client?
    Has anyone tried changing the e-mail address to the account and trying to log on with that?
    Is it possible to unregister the game and then re-register it?

    So lets solve this issue so we can play this badass game.

    I don't think there's anything we can do about it. This problem seems to be completely on Blizzard's end.

    I think my account just got hacked.....either I suddenly forgot my passwords or logins for yahoo and battle.net or somebody took them...at least it won't work for them. Hopefully, battle.net will have it back for me soon or else its just a site problem or w.e...

    Yea, its all on Blizzards end, I mean unless we all did some thing wrong that everyone else right, i installed game, downloaded the patches, registered it to my account and attempted to play

    ah guys i dunno if it works, a friend of mine had the same issue... he changed his battlenet password and used the new one to log in... was fine after that... anyone else can try this out to verify?

    So, during the night, i got my client download thru, and i'm currently installing the game, over 60% done. I'll be trying to log in, if it doesn't work, i'll be trying to change the password, info, account name and such. We shall soon see, if downloading the client helps at all. Then i will go thru every possibility i can do myself from my computer. I shall keep you informed.

    Well, i got my game installed, but i did a quite foolish thing, since while it was installing, i changed my password. Well, yeah, the outcome was worth it, since IT WORKS NOW! HELLZ YEAH!

    You guys should try changing the password, if that doesn't work, then try downloading the client.

    My problem is fixed, hope it will be useful for you. Happy gaming, you all!

    I confirmed, I had the same problem, only need to change the battlenet account password and the game works... I can't believe I waited more than 2 days to play a freaking game I paid this amount of money for such a stupid thing.

    CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD GUYS

    Hmm, I changed my password and waited about half an hour and tried to log in the game and I'm still getting that message. Did you guys buy the retail copy or the digital download version? I have the digital download and my order is still "Queued" in my transaction history even though I've been charged for the game and it's listed in my account as active.

    I've got the retail copy, I'm sorry if it doesn't work with the digital one, but so far, 3 out of 3 retail copies seem to be a fair guess that changing your password is good for retail games.

    Yeah, i guess changing the password doesn't work for everyone, and now that i've started playing SC2, it's been quite awesome, but the feeling of the gameplay would have felt SO much better if i could have just been able to play to game immediatedly...

    Well, even tho it's not as awesome as it would have been if i had been able to play it right away, it's still a kickass game. Totally worth all the money i paid. Worth the wait time too, but that was totally unnecessary by Blizzard...

    Oh, guys. I finally got the mail from Blizz. I got this crap...

    "Thank you for your email. We have looked into your account and see that you have been playing recently. We assume that your issue is now resolved but if you require any further help, please do not hesitate to contact us."

    Congratulations, i win with fixing my game better than you, Blizz...

    Yeah, I figured you guys must have had the retail copies since there have been a lot of mixed reports about the password changing working. I don't know what Blizzard's problem is with the digital downloads, but for some reason the servers aren't pushing them through.

    If you already installed the game from a disc then you should be good to go. The client you download online is the same thing as the client they put on the DVDs in stores.

    Well is there anyone else here that's stuck in my boat with the digital download version? Sucks having bought the game two days ago and not being able to play it. =\

    I'm in your boat SKEvil. I start SC2 and it just sits there asking me for BATTLE NET ACCOUNT NAME and I can't do anything with it. Whatever I type in the CONNECT button doesn't punch in and I can't click it. It just can move me to CREATE ACCOUNT where it says my status is active.

    I just found some free time to play today and I can't. Terrible feeling having just bought it...

    Also a digital copy.

    Here we go day three.

    Edit: The digital download order is now "Complete" in my transaction history but I'm still getting the "There is no associated copy of Starcraft II with this account..." crap. I tried changing my password and email address, but I haven't had any luck so far.

    Well, my first thought reading this thread was "Are you guys typing the entire email address to your account: ex user@user.net." Then i saw that some of you clearly were doing this. For those of you guys who can't press connect, it could possibly be video drivers, unless you can press OTHER buttons.

    Its also possible that you are having some of the connection issues covered in this thread. Are you failing to log-in? Or is it saying something else? I screen shot of the error would be nice (printscreen, paste into MS Paint, save as jpg, upload via photobucket or the like).

    please help, please, i tried resetting my password, i have a retail copy and its installed, also have battle.net account, says its active, put in the name it gave me, the connect button, never works, come on. i just want to play its the only button that doesnt work
