You know, I find the toclafane a lot more impressive than the daleks. Faster, more agile, better personal time travel (100 trillion years and arrive without being a second off), cooler weapons and mostly indestructable. The only thing they miss is ships, but its likely they can just fight in space.

 

There's a few drawbacks though.

First, I don't think that they themselves have time travel abilities, rather, I think it was specifically the Master's paradox machine that opened the time rift. Second, their weapons, while nifty and much faster firing, don't seem to have the same destructive power against hard targets. Daleks are often seen blowing stuff it too bits, the Tocs are only seen shooting softs (iirc). Lastly, they can't think for themselves, whereas Daleks can to a small extent.
