I was agitated because his mourn over the loss of spam land went into a set of hysterical posts and showed a bad example despite being a mod, who should set the standard, not pull it down.
He was in a tantrum because of an internet site... that's just sad.

Sorry to take side, but I got to agree with kuvasz. Having stuff like "Even if this is not the final layout, vB is still sucky" in your sig and saying blatant lies like "Um...I dont know where you were, but it [Spam Land] was the most popular and vital part of the forum..." is both useless and stupid. If you want to complain and whine about how lame and crappy then new forums are, take it up with sc2forums or one of the other global mods, I'm fairly sure they'd be more than happy to absolutely shout you down as they have said on many occasions that things are going to improve it will just take time. They've also asked everyone to please bear with them which you aren't doing or helping with in the slightest. sc2forums already seems fed up with everyone's complaints and I doubt you realise how much of his own time, effort and money he's putting into this. On second thoughts, you better not. It would just waste more of their time and probably isn't likely to change your stubborn mind.
I know that it's disappointing to have most of Space Junk deleted and now Spam Land but both times you've drastically overreacted. As kuvasz said, it's not like it's the most important part of the forums. You might think it is, but it's not. It's called 'starcraft2forum' and not 'spacejunkforum' for a reason. That reason is that it's about StarCraft2 and not about Space Junk. Space Junk is still a great place where people can be a lot more expressive and relaxed, but it is not the be all and end all. The 70% or so of Space Junk that was deleted was deleted because of a function that got rid of any threads that were inactive for over thirty days or something, am I right? If something has been left that long without anyone showing any interest to it, why does it even matter that it's been deleted? The same goes for Spam Land. It might as well be deleted and remade every week as, like kuvasz said, no-one ever goes back to read all the previous posts. I think that you're a bit too concerned about numbers at the moment. You want Spam Land to have the largest number of posts and Space Junk to have the largest number of topics, but that really doesn't mean anything what-so-ever. If they're not being used, what's the point in having them? They're just taking up space.
I could understand you being upset if it was your account or something that got deleted. You've worked for all those powerups, earned the minerals for all your pets, collectibles and other items such as name colour and frames, as well as building up respect and gaining your own image, but this isn't your account. It's just an unused part of the forum.
I could go on for another few paragraphs, but I think I've made my point. I'm aware that I will probably get banned for a lengthy time because of this, but it has to be said. Simple as that. You can delete this post, ban me, do whatever you like. The point is that if you do delete this or ban me, you're just censoring and opposing opinions or values allowing yourself to continue to feel sorry of yourself and wallow in your own self-pity. I just want you to be aware that this isn't an attack against you, this is an attack against your current attitude and the attitude to all others who are being completely slack and ignorant to everything the mods have said about the site's changes. I think that you seriously need to take a step back and think about what you're doing. Otherwise, and I hate to say it but kuvasz is right, you don't deserve to be a mod.
In summation. If you don't like how starcraft2forums is at the moment and feel that it's both depressing and crap, take a leaf from your own book and GTFO. You've said that others should, and you should do the same.
Here's some light reading for your spare time. Hopefully you'll realise the effort going into this site purely for your benefit.

That wasn't directed at you iffjdrie. It was mainly directed at GM_k but also at other members who are constantly complaining about the new forums, notably Juggernaught131.

He's the main other that I've noticed. He ends most of his posts with "P.S. where do i go to complain about the new forum set up". Here are some examples:

Testing quote quotes! They don't work. Have to be done manually.

How am I overreacting? You can sure not care about anything here, but I got responsibility to make sure Space Junk has the best conditions possible. You just come here to chat and relax, but I need to look beyond that and make sure its all functioning properly. Many of those deleted threads were not needed, but many would have been used again and again. Its pretty obvious I would be the first one to complain, I have been taking care of Space Junk for so long, and I belive that currently things are not going the best way they could. I don't deserve to be a mod because I tell the public the truth and the most realistic view of things? Anyway, things have changed since yesterday and its useless to argue about this.
I have always shown support for what the admin is doing and I will patiently carry on tru this forum update, but as ijffdrie said, vB generally isnt good and its a shame that we are going to lose so many good features.

Well, before when something happened to Space Junk you said that you were going to leave. A bit severe don't you think? What would you think if sc2forums left after changing the layout because it 'wasn't as good'? It's definitely an overreaction. Now, after the site change, you've said on a number of occasions that this new layout is so depressing and how crap it is, not to mention that it's in your freaking sig, meaning that it's attached to every single one of your posts. It's like you're not even prepared to even think about giving it time.
And where did leaving fit into those responsibilities? Not to mention that constantly complaining, frustrating other members and bringing down the forum's moral is not a way of making sure it's under the 'best conditions possible' or that it's 'all functioning properly'.
Most of them were not needed. The function that got rid of those threads was one designed to get rid of old, unused threads. It there was such and important and un-losable thread that got deleted, why was it that no-one paid any attention to it for all that time?
When did I say that you don't deserve to be a mod because of that? Not that I feel that you give the most realistic view of things, rather a quite depressing view of things, but the fact remains that I said you don't deserve to be a mod if you keep whining, complaining, etc, etc. It's your attitude that's killing it for you, man. You seriously got to pull yourself together.
From what I've heard sc2forums has said that vB will allow for a lot more features than we had on the old forums and that other forums who use vB usually either don't realise its potential or couldn't be bothered doing anything with it, which is why people might think that it's worse than others. The difference with this forum is that we have mods that both know its potential and are willing to put in the effort to make it reach that potential. It's not good for anyone if, and others, keep saying that vB and the new layout suck.
Lastly, you haven't commented on my last point. Why, if you tell others to leave if they don't like Space Junk/Spam Land, don't you leave because you don't like the current layout? That's what a lot of people are doing. They'll just return when everything's been fixed up. It'll save you from having to visit a 'depressingly' laid out forum and you won't be bringing down people's moral. Either that or change your sig to something like my or Hunter's ones, saying that everyone should just sit tight as the forums are undergoing a major revamp.
