So I had this idea for a superhero arc. Basically, its about someone who can change his timeline, effecting only himself. If he needs strength, he will change to have always worked out, if he needs intelligence he will change to have learned. Only there is no natural state for him, so everytime he uses his ability, he gets further away from the person who decided to be a hero.

 

If he changed himself to have always worked out, then he wouldn't have needed to go change it.

BAM paradox.

 

And now we have a name for the guy.

Yay sabretooth. I think. Shouldn't this have theological implications? Shouldn't Ghost Rider have lost his powers, seeing as there is no more satan, and Ghost Rider was powered by god to battle Satan? Shouldn't Daimon have made an appearance, being the son of Satan and all?

On a related note, how did Satan possess Wolverine in the first place? Doesn't the existence of Satan preclude a system where you are only judged after death? Yet for some reason Wolverine suddenly wakes up in Hell, with Satan possessing his body?
On a related note, how did Wolverine beat Satan into submission in the first place? Shouldn't the lord of all evil be stronger than a cranky clawed Canadian? And why did Wolverine leave him alive? He had no way of knowing Satan wouldn't get back to power! Thank god for sabretooth though.

Anyone else find it odd that most RPG's from between 1995 and 2000 seemed to have nudity in really small isolated areas, where it would have driven the rating up without enhancing the game? Daggerfall had topless Azura, Albion had naked cat healer and diablo had the succubus. Maybe I just don't play enough RPG's to see the averages well

 

It is BlizzCon 2008 and you get a beta key saying "entry into the beta test for a future, unannounced Blizzard title". Would that mean SC2 or something else? And if it's for SC2 and is unclaimed, do unused beta keys become valid for titles other than it was issued for?

 

So I tried out the demo for starcraft 2 today. Damn this game is fun.

 

I tried out DC Universe online today and it was also extremely fun...

Enlighten me plz as to what Dr Manhattan is and why you have nude pics of him...

 

Well, he is from the comic classic 'watchmen'. He is probably the only true superbeing in the story (With some arguing Veidt is also super), a godlike being that gives America an edge in the cold war, ending the vietnam war in a matter of days. He slowly gets out of touch with reality, and abandons this world for a solitary retreat to Mars, starting rising tensions between the US and the USSR. His growing abandonment of human nature is symbolized by him wearing less and less clothes.

 

And him having sex with his partner, while letting clones of his body work on science projects, which is what he actually is paying attention to.
