If Minecraft, Starcraft and Warcraft are all massively popular games does that mean CraftCraft would be the ultimate game?

Can you help out with what to check out (as in sightseeing, famous buildings/places, coffeeshops nearby, etc. whatever you think is important)?

Or anyone else familiar with the area. Can involve mineral bonus.

In fact an Amsterdam 101 would come in handy as well :D

    *grabs tourist guide*

the centre is around of the city is around the four canals (singel, herengracht, keizersgracht, prinsengracht(single, canal of lords, canal of emperors, canal of princes)) and is famous for its herenhuizen (houses of lords) which have an interesting building style. The heart of the city stretches between de munttoren (minttower) and centraal station (central station) and is both the most popular spot for tourists and the most popular shopping and partying area for natives. De dam is a large plaza with beautiful buildings near it (palace, church, madame tussauds). If you're on de dam and face toward central station, red light district is to your right. Central station lies next to het Ei (the Egg, the body of water that seperates south amsterdam from north amsterdam), which has many interesting buildings such as the new library, the science museum NEMO and a duplicate of a 17th century sailing vessel.
There are also several interesting museums: het rijksmuseum (state museum http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/ ), Van Gogh museum ( http://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/vgm/index.jsp ), stedelijk museum (City museum http://www.stedelijk.nl/en It doesn't have its full collection at the moment IIRC) Amsterdams historisch (Amsterdam's history http://www.ahm.nl/ no site in english) Nederlands scheepvaart museum (dutch nautical museum http://www.opsolder.nl/eng/home.php ) en onze lieve heer op zolder (our dear lord in the attic http://www.opsolder.nl/eng/home.php ) .
I currently have my mother standing next to me demanding that I mention the fun pub 'old nickel' http://maps.google.nl/maps?q=Hotel+...eg,+Amsterdam&um=1&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl , which has live-music on thursday, friday and saturday. (she plays the harmonica, thats why i have to reccomend it :p)
The closest coffeeshop would be here, almost exactly where the A is. I helped paint the building next to it.

Also, its good to note that the Dutch are very good at English (although we all have a silly accent) and you can just ask directions from anyone on the streets.

Relevant question. On a scale of 1-10, how hot are Dutch girls compared to the rest of Europe?

Sweden, definitely. Prolly going to hit all the Scandinavian countries. We're probabably going to start in Spain, hit up France, then Italy, then Netherlands, quick breather in UK (not part of the babe tour - no babes) then finish up in Scandinavia.
