It stops for a split second when it starts firing, but then it is free to move, even though the whole attack animations takes 1 - 2 seconds. It will basically look like it's shooting while moving, if you micro good enough.


Geee, Meee wasn't much help.

 

So it stops for a second then it starts firing constantly. Can you drive in circles are around a zergling and have it open fire while its moving?

@LL. I don't think the Hellion ever would open fire if you just ran in circles around it with the move command. You would occationally have to do an attack-move, quickly followed by circling around the Zergling again.

Well that sucks I was expecting something like the Cobra.

The Hellion is suppose to be fast moving raider. It should fire while moving.

I have an idea, when its moving it uses a weaker weapon like the marine Gauss rifle but when it stop it uses the flamethrower.

 

I guess something like that wouldn't condone micro.
