There is this one whose name escapes me right now but it's a pair of spyware that fools windows into thinking they are system files and it does all sorts of crap to your computer. it's a pain because you can't remove it while your computer is still connected to the internet.

    Any progress yet?
This problem really sucks. Most of the time these standard solutions solve just about anything. Anyway, if you already tried to reinstall everything, you can at least be pretty sure that none of your game files are corrupted and that you have all .dll files. -Sometimes programs like ccleaner delete one by accident, causing problems to crash. That is why I reccomended eusing, it can detect if anything is wrong there.-

Just checked some more forums, a lot of them say it has something to do with the DDR memory. If you post the top part of the report you get with the error, I might have a lolution that has proved to work specifically for WoW. Just copy past it here.

Alright. I will be around here most of the time anyway today.
Most forums say that you have to reset your BIOS settings to default, then find out exactly what voltage your RAM needs and set that. -usually 1.8 volt, a set amount causes less memory acces errors then the standard auto setting- But you need to know exactly what brand, type etc. you have before you set the voltage yourself. I once tried this on an old pc I bought for 10 euros, -to try and learn how stuff works without risking my game pc- I kinda fried the memory and everything else... Good thing the pc was connected to one of those failsafe splitter boxes. -logitech, of course-

If you have a nvidia gforce card, it might be good to use older drivers instead of newer ones. This was also the case with some of my older games which kept crashing, now they run fine. -hitman contracts, old total war games, homeworld 2, morrowind etc.- I will try to find the correct driver for your card, but then I will be needing your card type.
