No. Its slightly smaller than a Ultralisk being half its original size.

I read it in one of the posts about whether or the thor was overpowered and a lot of people brought up that because you cant transport it you it is more balanced. In the instructional video it says you have to build it on the battlefield which could mean you cant transport it. I dont know all of there source i just figured since a crap tun of them said it that it was true. and it would make sense.

    Clarification about THOR

can you transport thor? or since it technically is built as a structure you cant? Just want to make sure i have my info correct.

    Let me see...

Thor is extremely weak. Its built in the factory and its main attack is against air units. Yup, it sucks. They made it much smaller, so perhaps you can transport it now, but who cares.

    Re: Clarification about THOR

The Thor is not built in any structure. This is a unit which has the volume of a structure. That's like a moving structure. It can't attack air units, but is the bast unit against structures. You must not use them just to fight against ground units. A couple of marines can defeat them.

The idea of a big Terran unit is awesome, so those who think that the Thor must be smaller (like the goliath i supose) don't even understand the original idea of the Blizzard team : to build a HUGE ground unit.

Too bad that this unit can't fly like the terran structures. But that's a question which must be debated.

samir look it up, there is a remodeling of the thor that is much smaller, and does not attack ground, which sucks but leaves the siege the only of its kind, but ill try find sum new pics

P.S. ill try to find the information and a pic, but i have been having sumafter the extreme downsizing of the once powerful thor, (Namesake from the God Thor) they should at least allow it to be transported. If the small thor is kept by blizzard, then they HAVE TO make it transportable by SOMETHING. who knows, maybe they will add an upgrade, where the thor gains a transporter that has a huge cooldow and a limited range, but still can carry it across islands

i like the Thors new anti air ability and that it has lost the barrage ability, never liked that one

but im a little pissed about it GtG attack, the Thor should have a powerful GtG attack that is good at large targets like the ultralisk and the colossus but can be wasteful against smaller targets.
As for its anti air attack, make it great against swarms of light air units but can be overcome by large targets like the warpray and battlecruiser

so basically give the Thors attacks a ying and yang effect, ones good at heavy but can deal with swarms, the other is great against swarms but bad against heavies

wow, it is smaller, but it is still larger than a barracks and almost as big as an ultralisk, but the picture does not look like the thor is an anti air yet. It still has the cannons for its barrage, and im sure blizzard would have removed those if the thor was AA in that picture, so i think it may just be a downsizing of the old one
