    can't we all be friends?
anyway I think (like everyone else) that the slim viking looks two top heavy and unbalanced, but seeing as thats been siad in practically every second post...my lowly opinion does not mean much.
    Nice work of art though

    AMEN TO THAT

Nicely said. This is all true for terrans. They (or we:>) wouldn't be the same with the super-duper 'kill you all' tech. It's good as it is. BUT I hope there will be nukes:p

Oh, and I prefer fat one, but slim isn't bad.

The skinny looks to....cramped. The bigger one actually looks like they took the parts of the original unit, and shifted them slightly. Making the unit skinnier would just make no sense.

its not skinny... that is just in game...lorewise it is still a lot bigger. and by the way that is just a fan version if blizzard make it look sleek not skinny it will make sense.

It is skinny. It's very skinny and tall which make it look way too top heavy. Also, Blizzard making a 'sleek' Viking won't necessarily make sense or look any better than the current Viking model. We've seen your skinnier, concept art version of the in-game model and Remy's broader, in-game version of the concept art, and for both of them, people generally preferred the broader version.

ok. but there are still others who prefer the sleek version... in blizzforums there are neutral, pro fat, and pro sleek.

Yes, there are some who like it, but here, the majority prefer the original model. Also, it doesn't actually look too neutral on blizzforums. It looks as though the majority of people are still against your proposal. Even if it was neutral though, it should not be changed.

neutral imo mean they dont care if the viking is fat or sleek. meaning it can be changed and they will still like it.

That really doesn't change anything. In that case the Majority of people wouldn't care but the people who support the original Viking model would be the runner's up, meaning that out of the people who do care, more of them want to keep the original model. Even if absolutely everyone didn't care except for one person wanting to keep it and one person wanting to change it, and one person wanting to keep it, they wouldn't change it because there wouldn't be a point in doing so.

You're always choosing the best words to fit your argument. You refer to yours as 'sleek', making it sound streamlined, slim and polished, and you refer to the original model as being 'fat' as though it's gross and in excess, but you complain when someone calls yours skinny and little. It is skinny, it is little. It's not 'sleek, as sleek implies that it's streamlined and dexterous, because it looks so out of proportion and top heavy. The old design isn't fat either, as fat implies that it's overly built and even ugly, but it's not. It's broadly built and solid, just as all Terran vehicles should be.

What has this got to do with the Wraith, Vulture and Goliath? Not only have they been scrapped by the Terran army, implying that they are not as effective as the Viking, it looks as though 'skinny' just wasn't cutting it for them. Look at their most recent arrivals; The Marauder, a huge, bulky battlesuit. The Thor, a massive battering ram. The Viking, a solid, broad mech. The only thinnish ones are the Reaper and Banshee, when the Reaper is designed for raids and the Banshee, although still bulky at the front, had Cloak so will seldom be engaging in an open battle, just like the Reaper.
