    they do cost alot of gas for tier 1 though, so players wont be able to make an army of them during the early game unless they're willing to sacrifice mineral income.

    Not really meant to make a army out of them 2 per group of 6-12 guys is more then enough especially early game but i think they won't even be attacking late game unless its to finish dudes off.

    I thought we were supposed to be steering away from "spells" and stuff like that and more toward "movers and shooters".

    Hallucination is kinda iffy IMO, it should be put as a research-able a bit further up the tech tree.(I think it would be stupid in a pvp game, if it was so low in the tree)

    Force Field seems ok, it weirded me out at first but now I'm gonna give it a chance.

    Molecular Displacement.... what. in. the. ****. We already have storm, its a simple, solid, 'make things die here now' ability... But this... this is pushing it(in the direction of warcraft), i really hope we'll see more of this in the next battle report, because right now it's cause for concern(i mean cmon,a bounce mechanic?)

    It already needs to be researched. Plus, since hallucinations take double damage, thier basically only to temporarily distract opponents and the stronger the unit, the less hallucinations are made. So you would produce more zealots hals than you would stalker hals with 1 hallucination spell.

    The protoss theme is psionics, that's why Blizzard is giving them more (and earlier) spellcasters.

    ty for clearing this up a bit, I was pretty confident that it would be higher in the tree.

    T'is true they have a psionic theme, but I don't think that psionics means they need more activated abilities. Also I say you should break theme long before you compromise the quality of the part of the game you actually play.

    Terran can mass Marine easily through out the game (early-late) this is were Nullifiers would be useful get 200 minerals 400 gas make 4 Nullifiers use the Molecular Displacement then you can quickly kill 10 Marines and if you have power to spare good-bye 10 more marines.

    True, it's a way to keep people from massing a single unit, which Blizard is trying to discourage.

    Hey that gives me an idea.... what about using the molecular disruptor on the ennemy's SCV/drones/probes..... using a few, like 2 or 3 into an enemy base would be as deadly as a reaver (and cheaper) ....

    Nullifier drop on SCV!!!!!! ;);)

    o_O !!!

    I never thought of that! Use 4 of them, and they insta-kill 10 probes/drones. SCVs have 60 life, so they'd take longer to kill.

    That it pretty smart because you can even do it early game cause Nullifiers are only 50mins/100gas.

    SCV=60HP
    10 SCV=6 Nullifiers
    6Nullifiers=300Min 600Gas
    7 SCV = 4 1/2 Nullifiers
    4 1/2Nullifiers= 225Min 450Gas
    5SCV=3 Nullifiers
    3Nullifiers= 150Min 300Gas

    Nullifiers pwn Drones/Probe
    Requires more Nullifiers to kill SCVs that Drones/Probes thus it take more Nullifiers to pwn SCVs then Drones/Probes.

    You could always storm drop = instant kill.

    storm drop still gives the workers a chance to run away. Nulifiers's ability homes in on units, so even running away wouldn't work, as the ability would follow after them. Similar to how the reaver scarab chased down units, but with better pathing so it wont get stuck on stuff.

    It will be affected by how many units the warp ray can carry around because there is a limit to how many units it can hold.

    1. I think you meant the Warp Prism, not Warp Ray.

    2. just from guessing I would say that the Warp Prism can hold 4 Nullifiers, its just a guess, but its based off the fact that the Warp Prism can hold 2 Colossi within it.

    Yes yes Warp Prism my bad. What unit size is the Nullifiers? Colossus are like huge so 2 is sorta logical but Nullifers look sorta small.
