None. LOL. ;D They just install just for LAN gaming. However, most of warcraft3 games here are using original cd's with virtual readers.

Oh saw they are using the sTARCRAFT CD that dont have cinematics, and mission voices oh isee, oh well how sweet, hehehe :) so if you want cinematics it means you need the original cd to be installed :)

i have a "real" copy of startcraft, cinematics and voices all the way. And i bought it just a couple of months ago. cheap too. It, among with diablo 2 and other classic games, is usually on a special chelf in the stores. Its awsome.

the guardian itself is not as classic as carriers/siege tanks/hydras, just the units stats/functions.
Even if they make it look totally different, or should have similar stats (slow flying long range anti ground)

But I doubt they would remove guardians unless they want a whole different unit but still with the same attributes as the guardian.

i reckon it will make it back, the guardian appeared in enough clips to make it somewhat iconic.

zerglings, hydras, mutas, and guardians. they're the units that represent the zerg in my opinion. units like the defiler, ultralisk, devourer ya know i wouldnt be suprised if they were scrapped or completley revamped or whatever, but yeah the first units i mentioned seem pretty mainstay to me.

you forgot the Overlord. Thats like the only zerg unit that can absolutely not be removed. mearely changed. I cant imagine blizzard making zerg getting food from buildings and scrapping ovies, they are as iconic as hydralisks, just not as popular to picturize.

Nah, Guardians are no this useful/original in terms of unit. It just fitted ok in the current Zerg arrangement. When new units come and a new arrangement is made, Guardian might get axed just like Valkyries. It's the only Siege unit of the Zerg, but they deserve something that can run from enemy fire.

Gasmaskguy might sound a bit silly but i actually dont see the overlord as an iconic unit... with this zerg evolution stuff i wouldnt be suprised if the overlord became something different. though the general mechanic of an air unit acting as supply i believe will stay. although as far as zerg lore and all that, i reckon the zerg might develop the overlord into something with a little more grunt.. use its tentacles to pick up lone marines and eat them or somthing hahaha

Why would you want that? The overlord already serves 3 purposes as it is

The overlord is an iconic unit. The role of the overlord (not in gameplay) is to watch over the entire swarm and is next in command to the cerebrates. The lurkers need the overlord to guide them detect enemy units while they are underground. So the overlord will most likely not be scrapped out of the zeg.

.... i never said anything about the overlord gettin scrapped... in fact i said i believe the general mechanics of the overlord will stay. i love the overlord concept, but just due to the zerg evolving so, it would not suprise me if they made the overlord something different. and im not sayin i expect it to happen, i just said i wouldnt be surpised, and i know the overlord is iconic to most, i know that. i said i dont see it that way. me, i, headstock, i wasnt speaking for anyone else im quite aware the overlord is seen as iconic. all i said is that i dont see it that way, as far as the unit itself. the mechanics i see to stay, which i said, but the unit? hell the zergling is iconic and now its got wings. and i dont really want it to be able to pick up units and eat them, that was sposed to be a bit of a joke... i think that would be utterly stupid if actually done.

please dont twist my words, or argue against things i didnt say... not that you were being aggressive or anything, but i just find it frustrating that you say the overlord will not be scrapped with all your reasoning. i never said that at all.

Alright, understood. Nah, I wasn't really agressive. The only evidence in which you'll know I'm already agressive if I get very personal on my post. ;) And yes I did know the eating marines thing was a joke so, don't sweat it.

Yeah, the zergling, though small and weak, is like one of the most iconic unit not just in zerg but the whole game. And if talking about the guardians, I'll not be suprised if they scraped or alter the unit but in my opinion, the guardian should stay the way it is.

cheers mate, all good n'no rough feelings :) yeah well i suppose the way things are zerg could pop out like anything aye i want the guardian to remain... but who knows, the carrier was seen quite iconic and taht was originally out of the game, with a 'similar' unit to replace but none the less the carrier was originally absent. ya never know with blizzard

yes, and now that they put the carrier back, they changed its design to the Tempests. So, guardians and ovies might change in design too.
