    Beating

    I hear it,
    drawing me.
    I know it's,
    keeping you alive.

    The beating knows no end.

    It has,
    called to me before.
    Is it,
    still waiting for me?

    This beating won't fade.

    I've seem to,
    have lost it.
    Come back,
so I can find it again.

The beating with a beauty of its own.

    Fumbling in the night,
    searching for that sound.
    I'm sorry for,
    what made you less bound.

Beating in the distance hard to hear.

    Fire in the night,
    I am the moth.
    Treasure in the North,
    I am the seeker.

    Beating that brings.

    I know it,
    hasn't gone out.
    Will it,
    be taken by someone else?

Beating that seems blocked by something.

    Let me press,
    my ear to the chest.
    So I can hear it,
    more clearly then ever before.

    Soft beating sound.

    Let me feel,
    its warmth.
    Eminating,
    in red.

Beating showing signs of the deepest feelings.

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
    because I was not a Jew;
    Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

One trillion dollars could buy a lot of bling
One trillion dollars could buy most anything
One trillion dollars buying bullets, buying guns
One trillion dollars in the hands of killers, thugs

    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh-oh-oh
**** the world, a lot of people gotta die tonight
    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh
    **** the world,
    **** 'em all

One trillion dollars to Africa, Iraq
One trillion dollars and it’s never coming back
One trillion dollars could buy some bad-ass drugs
One trillion dollars makes me wanna kill myself

    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh-oh-oh
**** the world, a lot of people gotta die tonight
    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh
    **** the world, yeah, yeah
    **** 'em all

Until the sun burns from the sky
Until the sun burns so bright this world is no more
    Sun burns from the sky...
And all the people are just dust on the ground

One trillion dollars could buy a heart, a soul
One trillion dollars buying nations - all the world
One trillion dollars could make the fat lady sing
One trillion dollars, what a bull**** useless thing

    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh-oh-oh
**** the world, a lot of people gotta die tonight
    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh-oh-oh
**** the world, a lot of people gotta die tonight
    Woah-oh-oh woah-oh woah-oh-oh-oh
**** loads of money spent will show us wrong from right
    **** the world
    **** 'em all

    The Night

    Raise your ams,
    and breathe in deep.
    The night is upon you,
    beautiful lack of light.

Creatures of the night behold thy domain.

    Be embraced,
    let the shadows envelop you.
    Smell it,
    feel it.

    So stunning, the blackness.

    Feed from it,
    let it replenish you.
    Take the essence of it,
    into your lungs.

The night is upon you, when the day is done.

    Unnatural Causes

    Unnatural Causes

    A man died today,
    Confused were the doctors;
    His heart just stopped beating
    Said the onlookers.

    His skin was toned gray;
    His eyes, dull and pale...
    His hair had turned white,
    His body just failed.

    The papers and presses
    Rushed to deliver the news;
    The regular people reading,
Reading irregular words on page two.

    The headline did state:
    Dead Man Dies Again!
It told a story of how
He came back last night at '10.

It told a story of how
He rose out of his coffin.
It told a story of how
    His flesh was not rotten.

He simply sat up and blinked-
Gave the funeral guests a stare.
He had turned his head and coughed,
Then mentioned how the day was quite fair.

    He unsteadily stood up,
    Scrambled out of his grave.
He made his way to his vehicle,
And drove off, leaving Father Lewis amazed.

    The Father did cry out
    In anguish and sorrow:
    The dead reawaken!
Earth will be Hell by tomorrow!

    Some guests screamed,
    Followed the dead man's example,
They found their cars and drove,
    Other's ran about and trampled.

It told a story of how
    Chaos erupted in town.
    The men looting stores,
    The children running around.

The women searching for their families,
    The policemen overwhelmed.
Fires breaking out by the hundreds,
    Churches packed with sinful crowds.

It told a story of how
The man made his way to the hospital.
There a nurse brought him in
    Her nametag read "Krystal."

She led him to Dr. J. Suchong:
    Head Doctor of Unnatural Deaths.
    One look at the man,
And he was gasping for breath.

    His recently deceased second uncle,
    Sat in bed before him.
The man looked up and asked,
    Not attending my funeral, Jim?

    The doctor shivered with fright,
    And proceded to work.
He studied the talking dead man,
    With assistant nurse Krystal Burke.

Within ten minutes the man was dead,
    The doctor gave several pauses.
The man had died, he said...
    Of Unnatural Causes.

I came up with it on the spot.

...The Night really affected me. It gets a green smiley stamp.

This is a poem that never ends.
It goes on and on, my friends.
It doesn't really have a start,
In fact... this is only a part,
It's bigger than you and I, this thing.

...I kinda wanna start a forum game with a never-ending poem that starts with this.

Interesting. Kind of odd, but still.

    The Vow

    Heart from afar,
    hurt for reasons unknown,
    falling to the ground.

    Dearest feelings,
    reaching out for a heart,
    tumbling down without wings.

    Heart from afar,
    shelling up when injured,
should realize others hurt with it.

    Dearest feelings,
unsure of why they are there,
but a reason is not needed.

    Never forget,
that force will always be there,
waiting to hold up the other.

    Always remember,
    this force will never fade,
always waiting to be more then it is already.
