I think google is currently the best to use, pulling up thousands of articles on whatever subject you would like to learn about. i've tried the others, but they just don't seem to be as useful as google.

btw, this is off topic, but why are a lot of people using that pimp mobile sig now. It's cool, but freaky that people start all using it on the same day.

I use Googleâ„¢ since it has the best results, but Yahoo usually leads to these asking things from people, such as Cheats for w/e game, and if you click on it, its a post from someone asking, and sometimes, doesn't help at all.

@ Rex, however, don't always trust wikipedia for correct information. It is great for finding basic info on a topic, but since it is made by people, it could all be false. It isn't hard for someone to go into a random page, delete or edit the information, and rewrite the document with whatever they want. As proof, wikipedia has on the site a disclaimer that not all the records are true and to not take everything it says as true.

Because of this, most teachers do not allow you to use wikipedia as your online source for informational and persuasive reports, or they say it can be used, but doesn't count as one of your online references.

However, most of what you will find will be true, but just remember not to take its word as if it's gold.

lol, I was confused there for a second. Google is great for searches. I was trying to figure out why they wouldn't let you use it, then I read the last post.

You are right about that google is winning, but isn't there anyone who uses MSN search?
(I don't use it, but I am just a bit curious. It seems like a total failure of microsoft to me... ;))

I used to use yahoo when I first started using computers, but I switched over to google since their searches usually gave me better information and the search gave me topics that were closer to what I was trying to find.

Yahoo is actually still the preferred search engine worldwide. I think most older users use that predominantly.

Yahoo is also the host of the largest spider network, which is why you see so many spiders from Yahoo on our site and usually only one or two from Google. They share information but Yahoo is still the dominant force in searching.

And I use Google because, frankly, I like the blank page. I don't want a bunch of crap staring at me. Especially since I can hit tab and be right at the entry box.
