Scariest game EVER

Yeah, the one thing you should never do when watching foreign movies is watching the Hollywood version. They don't get much right. Stick with the originals and the subs.

I think FEAR or Doom 3 is the scariest as well. The little girl f*cking scares the sh*t out of me. I just can't get enough of getting scared though. I was playing it at night with some of my friends over, and this complete ass decided to scare me right while I was playing. I screamed like a baby.

 

I prefer The Ring than Grudge or maybe One Miss Call(Japanese too).

F.E.A.R's scary parts are those dimension players go to,its bloody and wicked with flying ghost.

 

can someone help me? I'm sort of stuck on this game. So far I've explored every room in the house except that one room that won't open because someone is holding it from the other side (or so it says). I've basically have read thru all the literature made available to me (the diary, the book by that one dude and the ExMortis found in the safe). I've viewed the strange symbols found on the painting in the hallway and the ones found on the old grandfathers clock. I don't see how that corresponds to the row of books found on the left side of the bookcase in the library. Some help appreciated. In the meantime I'll try to look around for more clues. Thanks.

I haven't tried it and won't be trying it as my machine here is quite old.

I give the best scary game award to Penumbra Overture. With a complex physics engine and a world with an eerie atmosphere, it really got my heart beating at times. Watch the trailer here and a nice footage of what you may encounter.

The bat destroying the door is kind of lame but when zombie wolves break through them, it's not so funny.

I wouldn't really call bioshock "scary." It was more like "unsettling," like "wow this place is so screwed up and it's kind of creeping me out" but it didn't really have scary monsters ripping out people's guts. Eventually it got to the point where it was like : "Oh, look it's the pretty doll-faced dude" *bam*

 

Bio-Shock is not really scary from what I heard and seen, the Big-Daddys (Big and mechanical) are mostly guardians for the little un-dead Girl

Bioshock is creepy for the most part. But I will say, the first time a Big Daddy charged at me.....O_O


Silent Hill is pretty damn screwy as well.

 

i really hate playing resident evil 3 or silent hill on my pitch black room, absolutely no light comes inside the room..... so....... scary.......

i have a tendency to scream when nemesis pops out from a window or something.............
and i dont know why, but the final stage of Half Life (the alien place) was giving me goose bumps.... dont know why...............

 

A Big Daddy only charges at you if you bother him or attack him and that includes that little girl.

Okay, i played it on a light screen. Its scary, but boring?

 

How could something be scary and boring at the same time?

 

one part can scare the minerals out of you
and another part can just be lamezor
for example the game starcraft has the worst game play ever and the graphics and user interface are terrible

i dont have any examples of a scary/ boring game

 

i remember playing this game a LONG time ago and i wasnt that scared (it was at night ) but it had me creeped out i think i quit playing because i got stuck and then got borred and played some more crap
